My entry to the Ladies of Hive Community Contest #193 [En-Es] Repairs and gardening.

Hello friends, @kerrislravenhill asks us the following question this week:

Our homes often need some repairs, and fixing things may take too much time for the homeowner or may be too expensive for a tradesman to fix. I believe some of you are adventurous in learning, trying and succeeding in removing and replacing construction, plumbing, electrical, repair or finishing items.

1️⃣ I would like to know how you have taken on and completed a home repair or improvement project that you are proud of.

I live with my husband and children in my mother's house, so I don't have much freedom to make modifications as if I were in my own home. However, I repair, with restrictions, small appliances. I have also done maintenance on fans and air conditioners.

On my plot, where we have been building our house for 15 years, I have helped fill in the land, weed and plant many trees.

I had to go many times to water in times of drought, when the trees were still newly planted, having to walk dozens of meters with containers, due to not having availability of running water at first, and later due to not having a long enough hose. .

I have had the satisfaction of consuming tomatoes, peppers and chives grown by ourselves and I would like to be able to continue doing so, but living there.

When I see those small plants turned into adult trees and large bushes with fruits, I feel proud and grateful because our plot at the beginning was a much more difficult, impermeable and almost infertile terrain.

2️⃣ And, after a job well done, what will you do to celebrate it?

If we were able to complete our house, I would celebrate living in it with my family and giving it the warmth of a home, cultivating my garden with love and taking many photos to show them on Hive.

All photos, except the first, belong to my family album and were taken by @darioreuben with his Samsung SM-G935F smartphone.

Thank you very much for reading my blog.

También he hecho mantenimiento a ventiladores y aires acondicionados.

Building a house, home, and garden are beautiful thing to do like an investment for life even for your child and your grand child later.

You can keep healthy for garden routine but yeah you must be help by your husband doing some hard work to do :)

Take care :)

It's true, and I dream of raising bees too, but I understand that it is not that easy. Thanks @anggreklestari, take care you too.

You should be proud about the garden! I too, have to haul water to water my garden as I don't have running water outside. To do it enough, it requires at least 10 trips with my large 2.5 gallon watering can. I'm usually tired after all that, but the food that grows is worth it.

Thanks for sharing and have a lovely day!🤗😘🌻 !LADY

Hello @elizabethbit.
Well, take care. I have a hernia and think it came out after doing that work.
Thank you very much 🤗 happy weekend.

I’m sorry about the hernia. Hopefully it will stay mild. Take care!

🙏 🤗

Living out in the Rural region away from the city I'm sure you have to depend on yourselves often. Even as your husband performs the majority of the fixes and repairs there is an opportunity to learn what he does in case that he may requires some assistance. Thank you @elentogether ❤️

It's true, the problem is that sometimes they think I keep damaged things on a whim. I have gone through seasons where I have only dedicated myself to repairing things because I love it.
Thanks to you @kerrislravenhill.
