Whether your mom is with us in person or in spirit, what is/was your plan for celebrating Mother's Day this year?

How many people would give anything to touch her little hands again even if it was just for a few minutes, those of us who have suffered from our mother's departure, when faced with this situation we cry.

We cry for not having her more time with us to hug her or tell her “I love you mom, I'm here for whatever you want”, that's why in my heart I want to honor her memory.

On Mother's Day she is the queen, that day we all celebrate together at her house and so that she does not worry about having to cook, together with my sisters, granddaughters, we prepare the food, in the backyard of the house we would cook a wood-fired soup as she likes, with music and a delicious cake for dessert.
Especially what made her feel most happy was to have us all together as a family.

All my life I will be grateful to God for my dear mother, she was the one who influenced my life with her example in my formation together with my siblings, in how we live, how we perceive the world and how we see ourselves.

He who has his mother alive, honor her and appreciate this great treasure, because every mother has something special and unique worthy of admiration, gratitude and celebration.
I share with you these words that I wish to say to her, because her spirit is present in my thoughts.

To my Mother: things I have to tell you

"Dear Mom, with the memory of your departure that overwhelms us on this occasion, let me express to you with my letter a few words:

“First, let me tell you that I love you, that even though time passes, the adventures of life, and the roller coaster of feelings, as long as God allows me to have life, every day, my heart will love you forever.

Secondly, forgive me, for not knowing how to use the right words, if at some point in my life I failed to make your heart smile as you deserved.

Thirdly, Mom, we know that no mother-daughter relationship is perfect, that at some point words may have come out of our mouths causing disagreements, but love covers the faults, mine and yours, and in spite of everything, between you and me there will always be an everlasting love.

Fourth, but not least, Mom I will love you even more for the beautiful woman you were, for your example of faith, strength and wisdom that you reflected. I love you for your devotion, for your patience and for your love.

May your soul always be filled with blessing, resting in the arms of God. Thank you for being a part of the woman I am, and thank you for your life, this day and every day.

Lloramos por no tenerla más tiempo con nosotras mismas para abrazarla o decirle “te amo mamá, aquí estoy para lo que quieras”, es por ello que en mi corazón deseo honrar su memoria, imaginando el plan para ese día tan especial.

En el día de las madres ella es la reina, ese día celebramos todos reunidos en su casa y para que no se preocupe en tener que cocinar, junto con mis hermanas, nietas, preparamos la comida, en el patio de la casa cocinaríamos una sopa a leña como a ella le gusta, con música y una deliciosa torta como postre.
En especial lo que más la hacía sentirse contenta era tenernos a todos reunidos en familia.

Toda mi vida estaré agradecida con Dios por mi querida mamá, ella fue quien influyó en mi vida con su ejemplo en mi formación junto a mis hermanos, en cómo vivimos, cómo percibimos el mundo y cómo nos vemos a nosotras mismas.

Quien tenga a su madre viva, que la honre y aprecie este gran tesoro, porque cada madre tiene algo especial y único digno de admiración, gratitud y celebración.

Les comparto esas palabras que deseo decirle, porque su espíritu está presente en mi pensamiento.

A mi Madre: cosas que tengo que decirte

"Querida Mamá, con el recuerdo de tu partida que nos embarga en está ocasión, déjame expresarte con mi carta unas cuantas palabras:

“Primero, déjame decirte que te amo, que aunque pase el tiempo, las aventuras de la vida, y la montaña rusa de los sentimientos, mientras Dios me permita tener vida, todos los días, mi corazón te amará por siempre.

En segundo lugar, perdóname, por no saber utilizar las palabras adecuadas, por si algún momento de mi vida no logré hacer que tu corazón sonriera como te lo merecías.

En tercer lugar, mamá, sabemos que ninguna relación de madre e hija es perfecta, que en algún momento pudieron salir palabras de nuestra boca causando desacuerdos, pero el amor cubre las faltas, las mías y las tuyas y pese a todo, entre tú y yo siempre habrá un amor eterno.

En cuarto lugar, pero no menos importante, mamá te amaré aún más por la hermosa mujer que fuiste, por tu ejemplo de fe, fortaleza y sabiduría que reflejaste. Te amo por tu entrega, por tu paciencia y por tu amor.
