It has been rather cold and wet, so we have not been able to take our little girls out as often as we would like. Fortunately, we managed to come up with a fun activity to do with them indoors: drawing with chalk! 😄
Ha hecho bastante frío y llovido, así que no hemos podido sacar a nuestras pequeñas tan a menudo como nos gustaría. Por suerte, se nos ocurrió una actividad divertida para hacer con ellas dentro de casa: ¡dibujar con tiza! 😄
The activity is simple enough: just whip out a cardboard box for them to draw on 👍 The chalk emerges with the simplest of ease, and most importantly, it is very easy to wash off.

La actividad es bastante sencilla: solo saca una caja de cartón para que dibujen. 👍 La tiza sale con la mayor facilidad posible y, lo más importante, es facilísima de lavar.

Unfortunately, our little girls are quite ingenious (too much so, if you ask me! 😂), and they quickly figured out the most effective way to use the chalk. They would smash two sticks of chalk together, creating a hill of powder underneath them! This is when things quickly escalated...

Well, anyone with children can tell you how it goes: you look away for one second, and by the time you turn around it looks like THIS!! 😱🤦♀️ Yes, everywhere was covered in chalk! There wasn't a single area that they left untouched 😩

The floor was covered in chalk -- tiny footprints everywhere! 😬 Some of the toys were covered in it as well. There were handprints all over the cupboards, fridge, and bed! 😅

Ultimately, we were just glad that they had fun... The mess was only a minor inconvenience and only took a few minutes out of our day to clean up. Plus, I managed to immortalize their hands and feet with these photos 🥹🥰 Oh, how I am going to miss the tiny feet and fingers...
