En cierta medida es un jueves más en el calendario, pero esto de los hitos es algo simbólico y está unido al sentido de interpretación que le demos. Por este lado de la pantalla, eso de pasar el año calendario es un evento que por tradición tiene su peso e importancia.

On another note, I'll take care of powering up the blockchain account in a few minutes, and I'll try to be more active and attentive to my blog this year.
I suppose that counts as a kind of "New Year's Resolution."
This year I started a little differently than previous ones. I used to stay up to see the first sunrise of the year, but this time sleep got the better of me and I missed it. When I woke up, I felt like taking a picture of the sun in the east, but when I went out onto the balcony I was met with a surprise... Seriously (considering we're in the tropics), I didn't expect to be unable to see the sun because of the heavy cloud cover.

Por otra parte, me encargaré en unos minutos de hacer el encendido de poder en la cuenta de la blockchain, y procuraré este año estar más activo y pendiente de mi blog.
Supongo que eso cuenta como una especie de "Resolución de Año Nuevo".
Este año lo comencé un poco distinto a otros anteriores, yo solía quedarme despierto para ver el primer amanecer del año, pero esta vez el sueño me ganó y me lo perdí. Cuando desperté, se me antojó tomar una foto del sol al este, pero al salir al balcón me encontré con una sorpresa... En serio que (considerando que estamos en el trópico), no me esperaba no poder ver el sol por la nubosidad tan fuerte que había.
