Hello hello food lovers all over the world! Hi to all hiver’s!. How are you all today? I hope all is well to you and your family and that all is having a good day. Who are the Hiver’s here that like to eat in a buffet? Well; once in a while . It was nice to dine and enjoy the food like in eating in an Eat All You Can Buffet. For today's blog let me share with you all my 43rd birthday celebration in Viking’s luxury buffet restaurant located in Sm City Cebu Philippines.

Hearing the word birthday, the first thing that would come to our mind is celebration. A celebration is not complete without food. Well, I can’t deny that I am growing old. Before my birthday,my daughters are asking me. What do I want to do on my birthday? Honestly; I really do not know what I want to do. In my mind; I want to do ISLAND HOPPING or explore the northern part of Cebu because my cousin is living in Daan Bantayan and is inviting me to visit and explore their place. We agreed that we would visit them after my birthday on weekends. I just answered them,let’s see what we can do then. On the other hand; my partner does not want me to cook on my birthday. He told me, it is your day. You always do the cooking, and the house chores. That day, I want you to relax.

I do not have the idea of where we would celebrate my birthday. I thought we would eat at one of our favorite restaurants. For me, as long as we are complete and happy. We would just attend church to thank God for the Gift of life and all the blessings He bestowed towards us. Then we eat together no matter if it's fast food or anywhere then that would be so fine for me.

The day has come , finally it was my 43rd birthday. We all go to church then after attending the Holy Mass we proceed to SM City. I asked them where we were eating.? They just smiled at me and said just wait Mama. To my surprise we are in front of Viking’s luxury buffet. My partner never let go of my hands. I was really surprised. So many people are falling in line to get inside. He asked the incharge about our table reservation? I do not know if he made a reservation for my birthday. Immediately we do not fall in line anymore. One of the staff guided us to our table. While following the staff, we passed by the food and it amazed me.The staff told us that we can start eating and not leave behind our bags and important belongings on the table.

I sit down first and look at the faces of my 3 companions. My elder daughter just smiled and said, enjoy Mama. This is our surprise for you. We want to give you flowers but we know you do not like flowers because they cannot be eaten so we decided on this place. I just answered okay and thank you.The girls started to get food and I started to roam around to take pictures for my blog and check also what food I want to eat.

There is so much food that you cannot decide what to eat first. It was really true that Viking;s luxury buffet is a feast. From appetizers,soups, main course, deserts, drinks, kakanin, beers,and teas. You can enjoy all of it for $18.72 cents or 1thousand and thirty pesos per head. A birthday celebrant can avail free if he or she has one adult companion paying full.

I enjoyed watching my family eat well and enjoyed the food. My picky eater daughter, who is the youngest, eats well too and that makes me happy. Both of our daughters enjoyed picking foods and eating it. All the foods that we see and think are yummy we try to eat. I like the soup, where I pick my noodles, sauces and the ingredients that I like to mix for my soup. The girls enjoyed most the desserts. We like the lechon belly or roast pork belly its crunchy and so tasty. The fried Rice too is tasty. What I like the most is they have different food station and its very arranged or organized.The staff is very friendly and accommodating too.

They gave me a very cute birthday cake .The moment has come when they sing me a happy birthday and it makes me really happy. While they were singing it flashed back on my mind my Thyroid Cancer battle. How I bravely fought it for my family that loves me and needed me. I am super Thankful to God for all he has given to me especially my family and for making me Cancer free.

All of us enjoyed dinner at Viking’s. The food is very appetizing. A very good way to celebrate with your family alone. No hassle, no more tired from cooking and just relax, eat and enjoy. I am forever grateful for this unforgettable experience. My 43rd birthday was very memorable because of this wonderful surprised and that's makes me joyful and content in life. The price is worth the foods they serve. Even a bit pricey but so many people dine here. That was because of the many food choices you can experience.
