For my entry, I've chosen a shot taken almost exactly a year ago in a wet Amsterdam!
This photograph was captured on the 12th of June 2024 at 12.19 pm. In fact all the photographs that you see are all taken pretty much at the same time!
Had to be about boats!
As soon as I saw the title today when it came in my feed, I just knew I had to pop some boats in here.
As this is also my wedding anniversary week, it is a time when we go a boat somewhere.
These three shots were all taken on our Silver Anniversary last year.
We had a brief stop in Amsterdam. I had not been back there for many years, and so I booked us a wee city boat tour.
I was a bit surprised to see the most popular company was called Lovers Canal Cruises. So it had to be them of course!
There are heaps of canals in Amsterdam and this was a great way to explore things.
We were on the pier waiting for that boat called Flying Enterprise to berth and unload so we could get on and enjoy a leisurely wee cruise.
