Greetings, my dears, and welcome to my blog where animals will always have a special place, so I loved @friendlymoose's invitation for this week.
Today's star is Pocholo, or Pocho, as everyone at home ended up calling him. He's the beloved pet of some neighbors with whom I often exchange photos and stories about our felines.
As you can see in the picture, Pocho doesn't have a tail; he was born this way, and it seems to be a genetic mutation because several of his kittens have the same characteristic at birth.
Because of this physical peculiarity, his robust body, and the color of his fur contrasting with the surrounding nature, he suddenly reminded me of a wild lynx.
I couldn't resist taking some pictures of this beauty; luckily, I always have my phone handy.
I love the beauty of cats; it's elegant and wild at the same time, majestic, as if domestication hasn't extinguished their primitive and independent nature.

Saludos, mis queridos y bienvenidos a mi blog donde justamente los animales siempre tendrán algún rinconcito reservado, de modo que amé la convocatoria de @friendlymoose para esta semana.
El protagonista de hoy es Pocholo, o Pocho, como en realidad terminaron llamándolo todos en su casa. Es la amada mascota de unos vecinos con quien a menudo intercambio fotografía e historias de nuestros felinos.
Como pueden ver en la imagen, Pocho no tiene cola, nació así y parece ser una mutación genética porque varios de sus hijos presentan la misma característica al nacer.
Por esa peculiaridad física, por su cuerpo robusto y el color de su pelaje en contraste con la naturaleza circundante, se me pareció de pronto a un lince salvaje.
No pude evitar tomarle unas fotografías a esta hermosura, por suerte siempre traigo mi cell a mano.
Me encanta la belleza de los gatos, es elegante y salvaje a un tiempo, soberbia, como si la domesticación no hubiera apagado la naturaleza primitiva e independiente en ellos.
