Son los últimos días de abril y el futuro inmediato de Splinterlands se ve muy prometedor ahora con la edición completa de Conclave Arcana en nuestras manos o casi completa ya que aún falta el último conflicto y seguramente habrá nuevas cartas de Lands, exclusivas o promocionales en lo que resta de año. Por eso en nuestra transmisión de todos los sábados en la atberna de Bulkathos, hemos estado explorando a profucdidad el potencial de los sets Conclave Arcana Core/Escalation para mejorar las estrategia que usamos en Moderno. Pero esta transmisión no fue como cualquier otra, esta fue una transmisión temática, así como en una taberna real los participantes trajeron sus cervezas favoritas y las compartieron en el discord. vamos a echarles un vistazo!
Hey friends of Hive NFTGame Latino and Splinterlands! It's the last few days of April, and the immediate future of Splinterlands looks very promising now that we have the complete Conclave Arcana set in our hands, or almost complete, since the final conflict is still to come, and there will surely be new Land cards, exclusive or promotional, before the end of the year. That's why, in our weekly stream from Bulkathos Tavern, we've been exploring in depth the potential of the Conclave Arcana Core/Escalation sets to improve our Modern strategies. But this stream wasn't like any other; it was a themed stream, and just like in a real tavern, the participants brought their favorite beers and shared them on Discord. Let's take a look!
Por mi parte y ara abrir la transmisión traje una cerveza Zulia, recientemente centenaria y una de las que más crecimiento a nivel nacional ha tenido en los últimos años en Venezuela. Luego nuestro estimado @takeru255 que se toma muy en serio estas transmisiones nos trajo una cerveza Costeña! Eso si que fue una sorpresa para mi, jamás había visto esa marca, ya hay muchas que llegan de Colombia a Venezuela y que he tenido la oportunidad de probar pero esta si que fue una grata sorpresa, la anotaré en mi lista de cervezas pendientes. Por último nuestro compañero @culebro decidió acompañarnos con una clásica cerveza Polar, la marca referente en Venezuela.
To kick off the broadcast, I brought a Zulía beer, recently celebrating its centenary and one of the fastest-growing beers in Venezuela in recent years. Then, our esteemed friend @takeru255, who takes these broadcasts very seriously, brought us a Costeña beer! That was a real surprise for me; I'd never seen that brand before. There are many that come from Colombia to Venezuela, and I've had the chance to try them, but this one was a pleasant surprise. I'll add it to my list of beers to try. Finally, our friend @culebro decided to join us with a classic Polar beer, the leading brand in Venezuela.

Con todo preparado, abrimos el programa sirviendo nuestras respectivas cervezas y si te fijas en la foto de mi cerveza me acompañaban 2 figuras de Xenomorfos y es que en ese momento ya era 26 de abril o bajo la numeración anglosajona 4/26 en referencia a la Luna LV-426 que marca así el día de conmemoración del Alien Day! Por eso quise realizar la transmisión en compañía de mis figuras de colección de esta magnífica saga de la que soy un gran fan y de hecho viéndolo en retrospectiva fue quizás una gran influencia que me llevó a estudiar bioquímica y biofísica. Una vez servida la cerveza en mi tarro brindamos por este último sábado del mes de abril y para que sigamos disfrutando de este gran proyecto que es Splinterlands.
With everything ready, we started the show by pouring our respective beers, and if you look at the picture of my beer, I was accompanied by two Xenomorph figures. It was April 26th, or 4/26 in the Anglo-Saxon numbering system, referring to the moon LV-426, which marks the day of commemoration of Alien Day! That's why I wanted to do the broadcast with my collectible figures from this magnificent saga, of which I'm a huge fan. In fact, looking back, it was perhaps a major influence that led me to study biochemistry and biophysics. Once the beer was poured into my mug, we toasted to this last Saturday of April and to the continued enjoyment of this great project that is Splinterlands.
En las últimas 6 semanas hemos visto las cartas modernas que tienen el mayor potencial para avanzar en el formato moderno, principalmente de la edición Conclave Arcana (Core/Rewards) y su mini set Escalation en los elementos de fuego, agua, tierra, vida y muerte. Las hemos revisando usando un criterio para presupuestos ajustados, es decir, considerando una buena relación costo beneficio. En ese contexto nos faltaba por evaluar la clase Dragón, aquí si teníamos mucho que evaluar porque en realidad casi no tengo cartas de esta clase y mi intención de explorarlo es que pronto saldrá el último arconte de esta edición que será de la clase dragón: Dragonlord Mancer y estoy determinado a tener esta carta en mi mazo, de hecho empezaré a construir mi mazo dragón moderno a partir de esta carta legendaria.
Over the last six weeks, we've been looking at the modern cards with the greatest potential to advance in the modern format, mainly from the Conclave Arcana set (Core/Rewards) and its Escalation mini-set, focusing on the fire, water, earth, life, and death elements. We've been reviewing them using a budget-friendly approach, that is, considering a good cost-benefit ratio. In that context, we still had to evaluate the Dragon class. Here we had a lot to evaluate because I actually have almost no cards of this class, and my intention to explore it is that the last archon of this edition will soon be released, which will be of the Dragon class: Dragonlord Mancer, and I am determined to have this card in my deck. In fact, I will start building my modern dragon deck from this legendary card.

Junto con Sheng Xiao ya la edición Conclave Arcana tendría sus 2 arcontes dragon legendarios, ambos me gustaría tenerlos, Sheng Xiao por su bajo coste de mana y la habilidad Burst que es una gran ventaja para enfrentar a tus oponentes y en el caso de Dragonlord Mancer es esa habilidad de corrupted healing que es sin duda una ventaja estratégica pues sana todas las unidades en el campo de batalla y además puedes colocar Bloodlust que es prácticamente convertir a cualquier carta en un gladiador.
Along with Sheng Xiao, the Conclave Arcana set would then have its two legendary Dragon Archons. I'd like to have both of them: Sheng Xiao for his low mana cost and the Burst ability, which is a great advantage against opponents; and Dragonlord Mancer for his Corrupted Healing ability, which is undoubtedly a strategic advantage since it heals all units on the battlefield, and you can also cast Bloodlust, which practically turns any card into a gladiator.
Para esta transmisión nos enfocamos en aquellas cartas dragón raras y épicas que tienen un precio bastante accesibles, empezando por Ironcoil Bulwark que es una potente unidad melé, es de esas cartas que más que usarlo como tanque es ideal para ubicarlo en la segunda posición por su daño y velocidad, si recibe daño, con su habilidad enrage aumenta a casi el doble su daño y velocidad. Luego descubrimos el gran potencial de la carta Songale, que tiene la habilidad estratégica reckless, ideal para activar el daño de unidades con la habilidad painforge como la carta épica Aranduriel o la carta neutra Portia Nyr. Y si eso no fuera poco, Songale en nivel 3 también cuenta con la habilidad bloodline tribute que incrementa las estadísticas de unidades que compartan su mismo linaje como Joraki Venshiro o Shiraza. Todas estas cartas tienen una buena relación precio/beneficio que consideramos son las cartas iniciales con las que deberíamos construir nuestro mazo moderno dragón.
For this stream, we're focusing on rare and epic dragon cards that are quite affordable, starting with Ironcoil Bulwark, a powerful melee unit. It's one of those cards that's ideal for the second slot rather than as a tank, thanks to its damage and speed. If it takes damage, its Enrage ability nearly doubles its damage and speed. Next, we explore the great potential of Songale, which has the strategic Reckless ability, perfect for activating the damage of units with the Painforge ability, such as the epic Aranduriel or the neutral Portia Nyr. And if that weren't enough, at level 3, Songale also has the Bloodline Tribute ability, which boosts the stats of units that share its bloodline, like Joraki Venshiro or ShirazaShiraza. All of these cards offer excellent value and are considered the starting cards for building a modern dragon deck.
Por supuesto, las cartas legendarias dragón son muy importantes, en ese apartado deberíamos comenzar por tratar de conseguir ya sea en cofres o comprando estas cartas en la tienda, las legendarias dragón rewards, serían las más fáciles de conseguir. Por mi parte aún estoy muy lejos de comprar cartas legendarias, apenas estoy terminando de completar las rewards comunes y comenzando las raras, aún no empiezo a comprar las épicas, por lo que dependo de un golpe de suerte en los cofres al subir de liga.
Of course, legendary dragon cards are very important. In that regard, we should start by trying to obtain them, either through chests or by buying them in the shop. Legendary dragon rewards would be the easiest to get. Personally, I'm still a long way from buying legendary cards. I'm just finishing up the common rewards and starting the rare ones. I haven't even started buying epics yet, so I'm relying on a stroke of luck with chests when I climb leagues.
Resultados Ruleta y Mini torneo/Roulette and Mini Tournament Results
Una vez revisados el potencial de las cartas dragón más accesibles a nuestros presupuesto procedimos a realizar 2 sorteos para aquellos asistentes a la tertulia en la taberna. Para ese momento ya me había terminado mi cerveza Zulia y no podía quedarme seco en este punto del programa, así que saqué del congelador una cerveza Corona, ideal para esta segunda parte del programa y procedimos a realizar el sorteo que tenía como recompensa para el ganador una carta reward común desbloqueada. En el primer giro ganó @pannavi y en el segundo giro, la ganadora fue la bella guerrera de la horda @mirlenyjerez. Felicidades a ambas!
Once we reviewed the potential of the most affordable dragon cards, we proceeded to hold two raffles for those attending the gathering at the tavern. By that time, I had already finished my Zulia beer and couldn't go dry at this point in the program, so I took a Corona beer out of the freezer—perfect for this second part of the show—and we proceeded with the raffle. The prize for the winner was an unlocked common reward card. In the first round, @pannavi won, and in the second round, the winner was the beautiful warrior of the horde, @mirlenyjerez. Congratulations to both!

Inmediatamente después comenzamos el minitorneo, 4 participantes decidieron jugársela en este mini torneo que tenía como recompensa cartas raras para los 2 primeros lugares y una carta común para el tercer lugar. Así en la primera fase se enfrentaron @culebro vs @cpol y @mirlenyjerez vs @takeru255. Los detalles de estas batallas las puedes ver abajo incluyendo los links de esas batallas.
Immediately afterward, we started the mini-tournament. Four participants decided to give it their all in this mini-tournament, which offered rare cards as a reward for the first two places and a common card for third place. In the first phase, @culebro faced off against @cpol, and @mirlenyjerez faced off against @takeru255. You can see the details of these battles below, including the links to them.

cpol y mirlenyjerez salieron victoriosos de sus respectivos duelos y les correspondía enfrentarse para definir el primer y el segundo lugar. Mientras que Culebro debía enfrentarse a takeru255 para determinar el tercer lugar. Así que pasamos a la última ronda de combates definitorias del podio final de este mini torneo. Por mi parte me serví una segunda cerveza corona Corona que me dejó un buen sabor de boca para disfrutar de estos últimos combates que cada vez estaban más emocionantes.
cpol and mirlenyjerez emerged victorious from their respective duels and were set to face off to determine first and second place. Meanwhile, Culebro had to face takeru255 to determine third place. So, we moved on to the final round of battles that would determine the final podium of this mini-tournament. For my part, I poured myself a second Corona beer, which left me with a good feeling as I enjoyed these final battles, which were getting more and more exciting.

Fueron unas batallas verdaderamente épicas! Salud por los ganadores y honor a los vencidos. El podio lo lideró Cpol, seguido de Mirlenyjerez en el segundo lugar y en el 3er lugar nuestro estimado Takeru. Los premios fueron entregados y compartidos por los ganadores en la transmisión, yo hice un último brindis por los ganadores y sus respectivas recompensas para cerrar el programa.
Those were truly epic battles! Cheers to the winners and honor to the losers. Cpol topped the podium, followed by Mirlenyjerez in second place, and our esteemed Takeru in third. The prizes were awarded and shared by the winners during the broadcast. I made a final toast to the winners and their respective rewards to close the show.
