Twenty Twenty Thrive; My Year of Surrender & Small Wins

in SciFi Multiverse6 days ago

Whoa, I can't believe that we're almost to December. Just now I was standing in a stadium, vibing to Harmonize's voice as he entertained us, hands high in the sky, mouth wide open, ready for fireworks so I can shout "Happy New Year!" and say this is my year, again!😂

Well, here we are for a reality check, thanks to @scifimultiverse

I'll say the Creator has been faithful all through. For the first time in years of writing resolutions, this one I didn't. As I sat in my room, waiting to go out and shout happy new year, I wrote a thanksgiving prayer to the Lord for being faithful.

The reason I didn't write down my resolutions was because, this time, I wanted to be carried by the grace of the Lord. No way was I going to limit myself to plans. Yes, there are a few things I would have loved to write down and try to accomplish, but looking back at the year 2024, I just wanted to give the Creator my steering wheel, you know, for once let Him lead me. That was my new year resolution!

So far, He has been a wonderful driver! When I look around me, I see small wins all around. A job that allows me to use it's time to check on my baby, #hive. Now more than before, I am able to publish one to two posts a day, that's a win, given I could go for a week with only two publishes. My newly found confidence both in life and in writing. A self-love that can finally say no to negative energy, something I lacked in previous years. For once, I am able to choose what energy comes into my life. Something I am grateful for!

But as each coin is two-faced, there have been some slight drags, delays, some financial struggles! But they have never brought me down, not like in previous years, for in this year, I got to understand the meaning of divine timing and even in delays, I have always looked at the situation with positivity. Maybe I'm too positive; too optimistic? Because I have learnt not to dwell on the delays but to find ways to improve myself; like aligning myself to receiving.

There's a saying we use in Kenya: "Ni God Manze! (It's been God mehn!)." Yeah, it has been Him! Knowing that He is in control, gives me the motivation to do what I do each and every day! Live, be happy and be open to receiving because He is never limited!

I might not have a 2025 resolution, but I can say, I love the drive through the year so far, as I look forward to receiving the end with more abundance!

Thank you for reading❤️!

It has been God all through pushing through thanks for sharing

Indeed it has been Him! Thank you for visiting❤️!

I think letting your creator take full control is not a bad decision too, he knows better.

Oh yes He does🤗. I'm loving it so far.
Thank you for the comment❤️!

It's good to count our blessings as little as it is. Really God is the one that decides we only plan and if we should look at it , His timing is always the best .

I agree with you dear. Sometimes the small wins are the biggest wins, sometimes we live in answered prayers, but because we expected something big, we might overlook the little miracles. And like you said, God is the master and his timing is always the best.

Thank you for the insight sweetheart❤️!
