Traveling is very therapeutic for me, and I love and enjoy it so much. I do not go around so often, but I always look forward to my next trip. Traveling gets me really excited every single time. I prefer to travel long distances to short distances so I can enjoy the experience for a longer period of time. Unfortunately, I have only been to a few places that are really far, and very few times as well. Even with the fact that I do get car sick and my stomach would rumble a lot, I still enjoy traveling so much.
When it comes to packing, I am literally the worst! I won't even lie to you. I am always lost on what to pack, and I end up packing more than I would need. I really do not like moving around with too many or heavy loads, but I just try as much as possible to make sure I pack every single thing that I might need in the course of my trip. I once visited a place just for two days, and even the hosts were shocked at my load because you would think I was going to spend a week there. With this, you'll think I would have anything I needed in my bag, but that's not even true. Let me shock you: I always manage to forget one thing or another every time. I do think that's because I pack at the last minute most of the time. I know it's not a great habit, but then it manages to always happen that way.
You might find this next one really weird, but then you won't believe that I always get shy about buying things from the public transport when I am traveling, both when the bus is yet to take off and along the way. I even feel uncomfortable eating things on the bus; I don't know why. I try to do it anyway when I unleash and embrace my 'hard girl' mode. Most of the time, too, I just buy whatever I want to buy before even entering the bus at all.
Also, it helps when I travel with people I am very comfortable with because it helps me do things without feeling shy, awkward, or uncomfortable. Although lately, I tend to be able to handle things better on my own.
Is traveling complete and fun without music? I doubt...
I really love listening to music when I am traveling, because it just makes it all better. I can get lost in the world of music while I enjoy the breeze, the scenery, and the different thoughts that come into my head. If I ever forget my earphones or earpods and I am embarking on a journey, it is always super painful.
To end this, another traveling habit I have is that I find it very hard to travel very early in the morning. Unless it is super important and time is a factor, I will most likely travel in the afternoon.
