It is very funny how I want to travel the world, go to so many countries and try out different things, and still have exceptions. It would have been just one country that I'll be writing about, but I just recently added a new one to the list.
So, the first country on this list is Australia. I do not want to visit this country due to what I have heard about it, which I am sure you'll probably be familiar with. It is believed that this country has a lot of reptiles that walks through its surface, and that is super scary. As if that isn't enough, you are not allowed to eliminate them, because they are legally protected by law, and you could go to jail if you do such. They can only be eliminated if they threaten you or harm you.

These reptiles are found everywhere-- in ceilings, bath tubs, classrooms, cars, mailboxes, water closets, cabinets, by your door, and so on!. Doesn't that sound so scary? The thought of it makes me cringe so much. Animals generally scare me, not to talk of reptiles. I get scared of mere dogs, and I am not fully comfortable with even Chickens.😂
Imagine visiting this country and lodging in an hostel, then you wake up to a beautiful snake looking down at you from the ceiling and another saying 'Good morning aunty' from the window😂. I am not exaggerating right now, I think I will just enter a state of Coma immediately. Even if they were not legalized by their government, you think I'd be brave enough to unalive any kind of reptile? Haha, funny. Maybe if I am in a serious danger and adrenaline can do the magic, I guess.
See, in general, I just don't see myself going to this country for anything. I will walk in fear, sleep in fear, bath in fear and even breathe in fear😂. I once saw a scholarship offer from that country, I just kept scrolling before I rethink applying for it😂😂.
The second country is India, and I am sure you must be surprised. Well, I am as well, and that is because I have always adored the country. From their movies, I loved their culture, dressing, dance and everything about them ever since I was little. I would imagine myself owning a saree and dancing in it, doing all those indian dances and making a fool out of myself😂.
P.S - I would still do it if I had the chance.
So, the reason this country got to my list is because of a story I read days ago, and the further findings that came after. So, these couple travel a lot and they update people on Instagram. I think their dream is to visit every country in the world, together. To cut the long story short, these couple got to India and they got robbed, while the the wife was gang raped by seven guys. That is one very traumatic experience that one wouldn't wish on another person.
Apparently, from the comments, I learnt that there are usually a lot of rape cases reported daily in Indian Stations and a lot of tourists have been a victim of some of those crazy guys there. I don't want to say too much about this because it's a sensitive issue. It is just very infuriating and I do hope there is a sort of serious punishment for anyone caught. However, if there was, I don't think it will still be on the high side. I will check more details on that because there seemed to be a lot of complaints in the comment section.
It just suddenly felt scary to visit the country. I am definitely not generalizing right now, I am sure there are a lot of decent guys in India. The bad eggs are just the ones trying to paint the country bad. Well, to be on a safer side, I would rather not travel there. At least, for now.
