This year I put a large feeder in which you can immediately load one and a half liters of sunflower seeds. You can put more, but you need to increase the sides of the feeder. I have already written that a woodpecker began flying to the feeders daily. He eats very funny. He takes a seed with his beak and flies with it to an electric pole. But in recent days, he has changed the way he eats. He found a crack in the tree trunk, into which he puts a seed and then knocks with his beak. But, this crack is on the other side of the tree.
But today I want to show Jay. She also arrives from the first day of the bird restaurant. Now she can eat much more comfortably than in previous years. She just climbs into the feeder and pecks at the seeds.

Tits and other small birds are sometimes afraid of the jay, but that was only in the early days. Now they are all used to it and do not fly far away from the feeder when the jay lands noisily on a tree.

Of course, this is the most beautiful bird in our area. It stands out for its bright plumage amid the greyness of early winter. The blue feathers stand out especially. Why does nature make birds so colorful? Probably, this is a guy and his beauty should attract female birds for procreation.
I am rarely at home on weekdays now. I appointed my wife to be responsible for feeding the birds.
Oh, now I have a thought - I need to hang another bird feeder in a rented apartment in Kirov. And you can also equip such a feeder at the office window!

I think that this year the birds will surprise me and surprise me many more times with their presence and behavior.
