Hello, dear #Emotions & feelings community this is my first time posting in this community.
Today I want to share a little about myself, my emotions and feelings. Soon I will travel to the city of Caracas for the second time this year to undergo an operation. Although this intervention is simpler than the previous one, it has generated nerves and some stress. The main anguish comes from separating from the youngest of our children, who is very dependent on me. In the midst of this storm of feelings and internal conflicts, we decided to take some time as a family to rest our minds, unite more and enjoy the beauty and goodness that our island has to offer. Thus, we visited a wonderful scenery of landscapes and relaxation: the Pampatar Lighthouse.

Hoy quiero compartir un poco sobre mí, mis emociones y sentimientos. Pronto viajaré a la ciudad de Caracas por segunda vez este año para someterme a una operación. Aunque esta intervención es más sencilla que la anterior, me ha generado nervios y cierto estrés. La angustia principal proviene de separarme del más pequeño de nuestros hijos, quien es muy dependiente de mí. En medio de esta tormenta de sentimientos y conflictos internos, decidimos tomarnos un tiempo en familia para descansar la mente, unirnos más y disfrutar de las bellezas y bondades que nuestra isla nos ofrece. Así, visitamos un maravilloso escenario de paisajes y relajación: el Faro de Pampatar.
This lighthouse, located in the salt flats of Pampatar, was built in 2007 and is called Faro Punta de Ballena. It is a beauty with a spectacular name and is lit from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am. From the lighthouse and its surroundings, you can see some of the most beautiful beaches in Venezuela. The blue of the sky and the beautiful blue of the sea, with a variety of incredible shades, make you get lost in its magnitude.
Este faro, ubicado en las salinas de Pampatar, fue construido en 2007 y se llama Faro Punta de Ballena. Es una belleza con un nombre espectacular y está encendido desde las 6:00 pm hasta las 6:00 am. Desde el faro y sus alrededores, se pueden apreciar algunas de las playas más hermosas de Venezuela. El azul del cielo y el hermoso azul del mar, con una variedad de tonalidades increíbles, te hacen perderte en su magnitud.
Being in front of such a beautiful spectacle makes you forget everything, the sadness dissipates, the stress leaves your body and you only have a moment to be grateful for the opportunity to live in this beautiful land. As a family, we can enjoy the here and now.
Estar frente a tan hermoso espectáculo hace que todo se olvide, que las tristezas se disipen, que el estrés abandone tu cuerpo y que solo tengas un momento para agradecer la oportunidad de vivir en esta bella tierra. Como familia, podemos disfrutar del aquí y el ahora.
For me, it was amazing to be inside the lighthouse. You could hear the echo of our voices combined with the pounding of the waves on the reef around the jetty. It gave me pleasure to see the happy faces of the people when we arrived at the lighthouse, where you can see the beautiful horizon.
Para mí, fue sorprendente estar dentro del faro. Se escuchaba el eco de nuestras voces combinado con el golpear de las olas en el arrecife alrededor del malecón. Me dio placer ver las caras felices de las personas al llegar al faro, donde se puede ver el hermoso horizonte.
While we were there, we had to apply sunscreen several times due to the high salinity of the air, as the lighthouse is close to the salt pans where sea salt is collected. This salt is very tasty for cooking and, in my case, I use it to make ecological soaps and cleaning products, such as the fabulous soaps that bear the name Blue Elephant.
Mientras estábamos allí, tuvimos que aplicarnos protector solar varias veces debido a la alta salinidad del aire, ya que el faro está cerca de las salinas donde se recoge la sal marina. Esta sal es muy sabrosa para cocinar y, en mi caso, la utilizo para hacer jabones ecológicos y productos de limpieza, como los fabulosos jabones que llevan el nombre de Elefante Azul.
Leaving the lighthouse, as we were close to the sea, we decided to have something to eat on the shore before returning home, thus avoiding having to cook. We took advantage of the sea, its smell, the peace and quiet.
Spending this day at the lighthouse filled me with immense peace, allowing me to get back to my day-to-day life and make preparations for my trip to Caracas with greater tranquility. My dear friends, until next time.
Al salir del faro, como estábamos cerca del mar, decidimos comer algo en la orilla de la playa antes de regresar a casa, evitando así tener que cocinar. Aprovechamos el mar, su olor, la paz y la tranquilidad.
Pasar este día en el faro me llenó de inmensa paz, permitiéndome retomar el día a día y hacer los preparativos para mi viaje a Caracas con mayor tranquilidad. Mis queridos amigos, hasta la próxima.
