One o'clock this morning, I was wrapping things up for the night when I saw this post:
A few minutes later, I'd booked myself all five nights in a Deluxe King room at the Kuala Lumpur Journal Hotel "base camp" for the event.
It's going to be so much fun to meet the humans (or robots?) behind the Hive handles, to learn more about various Hive projects, explore the city (this will be my first time in Malaysia).
Who Else Is Going?
Let me know in the comments if you are planning to be there...
What Could I Bring To The Party?
Actually, I think I'd just like to chill out and absorb the vibe!
Also, I engage with Hive as a blogger, Splinterlands gamer, and Hive / HBD stacker... so I'm not involved in creating or developing any Hive projects.
However, a couple of things occurred to me:
A casual chess competition with HP prizes?? I have several competition chess sets and clocks. Enough gear for 8 players in a round robin one evening or afternoon.
A presentation on how I use affiliate marketing to grow my Hive account via Bitcoin commissions...
Very much "fringe" events.
However, I'd be quite happy to travel light (without the chess gear) and relax and learn from all the innovators and project creators.
In case you haven't seen it yet, here's the Hive Fest website: https://hivefe.st/
See ya there?
Cheers!
