The sweltering summer continued deep into September. It was only once we got past the equinox that the daytime heat and humidity became a bit less intense. The evenings are now balmy and pleasant, however.
Meanwhile, on the Hive token accumulation front, September was not a bad month. On the bright side, I hit one of my two Splinterland targets for 2025 by raising our guild store to level three, which gives us a 40% Merit bonus when we participate in Brawls. (At the current level, merits can be exchanged in the store for Gladius cases, which contain 5 Gladiator cards.)
I'm also on course to hit my 2,000 staked SPS target for my second Splinterlands account, ChironCentaurus, and might even achieve that goal this month - depending on how well we do in the guild brawls...

Plodding On Towards My Other Targets

My CTPSB target might also be a bit of a stretch now, but it would be nice to end the year ahead of where I started it with this token...
As for BBHO, I think I could hit the target if I put my mind to it, but I'm quite content simply to plod along at the current rate of accumulation.
I'm also quite content to let my ChessBrothersPro delegation slowly accumulate under its own steam now. This is in part because I recently started delegating to leo.voter so the HP that would have gone to ChessBrothersPro were delegated to that project instead.
Speaking of LEO, I've been building up my position in the CENT / LEO liquidity pool to the point where I am currently the top dog, according to BeeSwap! So, although I abandoned my staked LEO goal for 2025 to take profits in August, I'm still invested in the LEO project in a couple of ways. Apart from the earnings on offer in the liquidity pool, there is also the option of instant liquidation, which could be very handy...
- The PWR / SwapHive liquidity pool has stopped paying out PWR rewards so my contribution to that pool has come to a halt. Even before that, with the appreciation of PWR, my optimisting target for 2025 became untenable. I like the project, so I shall maintain the pool for now.

Exciting October
This month has a lot in store... could it be "Uptober" all over again for Bitcoin? So far it looks promising...
And then... I'm looking forward to attending Hive Fest in Kuala Lumpur in the middle of the month, where I hope not only to meet lots of fellow Hivers for the first time, but also to learn about Hive and other de-fi projects and come way newly inspired with the potential of this blockchain...
