Good morning, Hive fam! Welcome 🤗 to my blog @zusi78. First time posting here.Let me share with you my frustrating Lagos experience!
It's 6 AM in Lagos, and I'm already sweating like a sinner in church. Alarm blares, but NEPA has struck again,no light since midnight. My fan? Dead. Phone? 5% battery, charger useless. I curse under my breath, splash cold water on my face from the bucket, dress up and dash out for work. Okada? N500 one way now, up from N200. Wallet screams in protest, so I hop on a danfo.

By 7 AM, I'm trapped on Third Mainland Bridge. Not the usual crawl, this is apocalypse-level gridlock. Danfo drivers honk like possessed demons, okadas weave through like kamikaze pilots. A trailer ahead was on fire 🔥, and spilled yam tubers everywhere. People jump out to steal, yes, steal!while LASTMA officials sip FanYogo and argue. AC? Nonexistent in this trotro inferno. Sweat drips into my eyes, shirt sticks like glue. Two hours later, I've moved just 2km.Boss texts: "Where you dey?" I rant in my head: Stuck in this concrete jungle you call a road!

I finally crawl into the office at 10 AM,only for another blackout. Generator fuel? N950 per liter now! Colleague whispers,"E don cost reach that?" We fan ourselves with files, laptops on low power mode. Lunchtime hits: Indomie joint outside, price jumped to N800. Pepper soup? Dream on. I settle for Indomie. My salary? Same old N150k, but everything doubles weekly, fuel, food, rent, everything!

Evening commute (my hellish journey back home from work)? Worse. Rain started falling; potholes turn to Olympic swimming pools. The Danfo I took skids andnearly flips. I trek the last 2km home, shoes ruined, spirit crushed. Generator neighbors roar all night,no sleep. Bills pile up: DSTV disconnected, data finished chasing free WiFi.
Lagos, why you wan kill person? NEPA, fuel hawkers, bad roads, daily torture! We rant, we complain, but nothing changes. Tomorrow? Same cycle. Who else dey feel this pain? Drop your gist below, let's blab till government hears!

Thank you for reading my post.Yours truly @zusi78, signing off.

Oh, so sad. You indeed had tiring and frustrating experiences. Traffic? Blackout? Empty wallet? If I'm on your shoes, I might have gotten upset, too.

I was a crazy experience!
