As is my tradition, 10k+ steps deserves a story. As is my brand, those steps are still in the deep of winter.
The day started out at 7:00am. An icy deep freeze of a Night took me 20 minutes to scrape off and warm up the car. The roads were drifted and partially ice covered to make it pleasant.
It is amazing to me how clear these driving shots look when there is reduced visibility and blowing snow in real life. The smartphone must be filtering them out for picture clarity.
The irony that the ice cream place that is closed all winter opens today shows how ready we are for winter to be over
Fields are still frozen and snow banks have occasionally started to melt but are holding out.
A quick stop to shoot a pic of a client who is now booking spring outdoors projects in anticipation of warmer weather.
Where there was once icicles weighing hundreds of pounds, the accumulation of snow is starting to slide off.
Around noon, the sun decided to make a showing. The sky is still cool but we are getting up to the freezing mark during the day. The sun is starting to hint are holding warmth.
Perhaps this will be my last 10k day of steps? Been around the sun too many times to believe that. Happy winter!
