Welcome back to my new post. How are you friends? I hope all goes well. Yesterday I told you about picking ripe tomatoes from my backyard. The remaining tomatoes are still green, so I plan to pick them the next day. Today, I'm not going to talk about my plants, but about a paper craft I made today.
For the past 2 years, I have always been making paper crafts, paper art and origami and posting about them every day. Recently, I haven't done any handmade things because I'm not feeling well and my nerves are weak. These days, offices and schools are closed due to the New Year festival in our country. Since there are few holidays, I have a lot of free time. So today I thought of making a paper handmade using color papers. So today I'm going to share with you how to make a sunflower using some yellow colored paper. This sunflower is very easy to make and do not require a lot of materials. Let me first tell you about the materials I used. Let's get started.
Materials-
- colored paper
- scissors
- glue
- ruler
- pencil
Step-1
For colored paper, I used A4 size and chose orange. I wanted to use yellow colored paper but I only had orange colored paper so I chose orange colored paper. My colored paper was larger than the size I wanted. So I measured and cut it to 4 inches x 4 inches.
Using that method, I cut out three 4-inch square pieces of paper.
Step-2
I chose a cut piece of colored paper and folded it twice into a triangle. Then I folded it two more times into a triangle shape.
Step-3
Then I drew a radius in the middle of that triangle. Then I drew two petals as you can see in the picture. Then I cut out the colored paper as I drew it.
Step-4
Then I put the colored paper back in its original shape and used a ruler to make the petals into small points as shown in the picture.
Using the same method, I also made two small paper flowers using the remaining two yellow colored papers.
Step-5
Now it's time to make the fabric. I was planning to use black colored paper to make the fabric, but I only have light brown colored paper. So I had to use that colored paper. I cut the light brown colored paper to the size of the ruler as shown in the picture. Then I folded it in half and cut into small pieces as shown in the picture. It is important not to cut all the way through when cutting.
Then I rolled up the paper as shown in the picture.
Step-6
For the stem and leaf, I used only one sheet of green colored paper. Since the green colored paper was large, I cut it into two pieces. I made one piece into the stem and the remaining piece into the leaf.
Now I am ready to make a beautiful sunflower.
First, I stacked the petals one on top of the other and glue them together.
Then I glued the stamen in the middle.
Finally, I glued the stem and leaf together.
