No resuelve nada grande.

Small Things That Sustain Me #13
Hearing My Name in the Voice of Someone Close

Hello @ladiesofhive community, once again with you with the thirteenth chapter of Small Things That Sustain Me.

There is something very simple that often goes unnoticed, yet it carries a special weight.

Hearing my name in the voice of someone close.

It’s not the same when just anyone says it. There are tones you recognize instantly. Ways of saying your name that carry affection, trust, history.

And in that moment, even if you don’t fully notice it, something settles inside.

It’s curious how something so everyday can hold so much emotional depth.

My name, spoken gently, can be a pause in the middle of the day. A reminder that I’m not alone. That someone sees me, recognizes me, calls me by who I am.

Sometimes it happens in the middle of an ordinary conversation. Other times, in a moment when I need it more than I realized.

And there it is.

Not as something big. Not as an extraordinary gesture.

Just my name, said in a way that makes me feel close.

In a world that moves so fast, where many things are said without stopping, there are small details that still carry intention.

And hearing my name that way is one of them.

It doesn’t change the whole day.
It doesn’t solve anything big.

But it touches something deep.

And that, even if it is small, also sustains me.

This is Vera, learning to sustain herself in the simple things.
