Living on earth this far, we have come to know that something will certainly happen. One of such things is that everything living can die. Death is inevitable for living things. Animals die; plants die. Whatever is alive can still die. Death is something that we cannot run away from. We cannot run away from death. We are born to face it. Having the right understanding about the concept of death is what will help those of us who are alive to face life in the right way. We should not make the mistakes which others have made in the way they have handled this matter.
2 Corinthians 5:10 (KJV) For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
What is the important matter here? We must understand that after our lives on earth we shall face life in another dimension. This is the life that many people are not prepared for. We have people who are wantonly living their lives without considering that they will give account of their lives. We must all appear before the judgement seat of God so that everyone of us must receive the rewards of what we have done with our body while we were on earth.
Hebrews 9:27 (KJV) And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
Through death, we are made to know that we have an appointment which we will definitely keep. The Bible says that it is appointed unto man to die once. This implies that every man has an appointment to keep with death. Let those of us who know this keep ourselves under the love of God. We should obey the commandments of God and repent from sins.
