My favourite Splinterlands lineup and why it works!

I don't have a single favourite lineup, but many, depending on the battle conditions and rulesets. I think the important thing should not be what cards we used to form our team, but what strategy we used, because the cards in everyone's deck can be different, so if we know the strategy, we can form an equally strong team with some different cards.

I am still testing cards from the new Arcana set and many older sets, and I have found some really great cards that make team building a fun task and have performed well in different situations. Although in Splinterlands you can build a team with countless combinations, and I myself use many types of lineups, this is one of my favourite lineups in which range attackers have no place, but if you want, you can also place a range attacker at the end. I myself do this sometimes. This is not a fixed lineup. As I said earlier, the point is to follow the strategy; the cards can be a little different as well, but if you look at this lineup specifically, you will mainly see melee and magic attackers with some really cool abilities.

So you can see two melee attackers at the forefront, the one in second position has Reach ability so he is also in full attack mode, the third and fourth position has 2 magic attackers who have their own abilities with descent attack power, the fifth position has another magic attacker who is also a healer and finally another melee attacker who can defend himself a bit. The main idea is to inflict heavy damage on the enemy as well as lure and divert them. Let's understand this by discussing each individual card.

First Position🔥

Every card in this lineup has an important role to play. Warborn Chieftain is a Legendary Earth card. I have used it as a level 2 card here. 4 melee attack power, 7 health, and 3 speed are great stats at a cost of 7 mana. Its speed makes it ready to attack first, and its attack power has the power to make a big impact on the enemy. Yes, its health could have been a little better considering it is in the first position, but its Phase, Dispel, and shield abilities protect it to a great extent, which makes it a great card in the first position.

Second Position🔥

Pallus is an epic neutral card and one of my favorite cards and as far as I can remember, this is the first card I bought. At 8 mana cost, it has 3 melee attack power along with 7 health and 3 speed which are good stats according to me but apart from all this, the special thing is its abilities which give it the ability to perform attacks from second position, some protection from physical attacks, and powers like true attack. In the lineup, you will see it with deterrence attack powers instead of the second line of defence. In most cases, the enemy does not attack it directly, but it is capable of hitting the enemy with precision every time.

Third and Fourth Position🔥

As I said earlier, every card in this lineup has its own important role. These two magic cards are also placed here to weaken and trick the enemy in some way or another. Rune Arcanist works to weaken all the enemy cards with its ability, weaken and Mycelic draws the enemy's attention with its Taunt ability. If the enemy has heavy attackers, then the Taunt ability can cause some trouble, but if you also have heavy attackers, then you can take full advantage of the enemy's distraction with a card with Taunt ability and be successful in causing heavy damage to the enemy and along with this, if you also get extra protection from Summoner like I have got in this battle, then it will not be easy for anyone to defeat your team.

Fifth and last Position🔥

As you all know, the job of a Goblin is to heal the team, and it really comes in handy in long battles. Many times because of it you can put pressure on the enemy, besides it is not only a healer but also an attacker, that too with magic attacks which cause additional damage to the enemy, after this, the main role of the last placed card is to protect this healer, so you can choose other cards for its work as well, in my deck, this card was the best in the remaining mana because 2 melee attacks in 4 mana is a good thing and then its flying ability gives it some protection from physical attacks as well.

This lineup is so powerful that unless your enemy has heavy cards of higher levels, you can easily win battles without losing many cards. This lineup is my favourite during the Fire and Regret ruleset, as I have used it in this battle as well and through the link of this battle, you can see how much damage the enemy suffers in the battles of this ruleset by teaming up with ranged attackers. Apart from this, I use this lineup in rulesets that favour melee and magic attacks as it increases my team's performance. This lineup mostly performs well on every battlefield because technically this team has heavy attackers, abilities to weaken the enemy and strengthen their own team and also has a card to taunt the enemy and distract them and almost everyone has Decent Health, which is another good sign.
