You must be thinking that I didn't post the update on the sprouting of carrot seeds. It has been a full month since I sowed carrot this year and I am telling you with great regret that the seeds did not sprout this time.
To be honest, I am still not able to accept it and I am still hoping that soon one morning I will see lots of tiny sprouts in that grow bag. When no seed sprouted after 3 weeks, last week I checked my last year's blog. Although I remember the time taken for sprouting, but still sometimes it happens when you know something but just don't believe it. As if you don't believe, the truth will change!
But it was written in that blog as well that after sowing, the seeds had germinated within 15 days, and this time it has been one month today.
I don't know what went wrong this time because as far as I remember, I have completed the entire process very carefully. The soil mix was better than last year, I grow bag was also nice and big, the seeds were the same ones left over from last year.
One second... The Seeds Were From Last Year. Could it be that the seeds had expired? I don't know how this could have happened in such a short time but this could also be a possibility and maybe that is why not even a single seed germinated. :/?
Well, whatever the reason, I may have failed in gardening this time. However, even now, every morning, the first thing I do is to go and sit next to this grow bag and carefully observe every square inch in the hope that I might see a seed sprouting from somewhere.
But this weekend I am going to leave it and move ahead and will probably work on growing carrots again or some other vegetable plant and then once again I will welcome you all to my green blog! :)
