Warm greetings fellow shadow hunters! π π π β¨ π€
For my entry in Shadow Hunters Community Contest/Show Me a Shadow: Round 372, I'd like to share a verdant handful of photos that I took Sunday afternoon, of the subtle and sweet play of sunlight and shadows on the leaves of one of the very common fern species that I found growing along the road between our two driveways. Shadows and ferns are a natural pair, and I take photos of the combo all the time, and for good reason, as you can see!
I find the alternating bands of sun and scalloped shadows on the contrasting bright green leaves of these ferns to be very lovely indeed, and it always catches my eye. I hope that y'all appreciate them as much as I did when I took them! π π π β¨ π€
