Good day dear mates! In last time ofthen enough I've mention that weather became unpredictable when I was discussing some weather issues with other hiveians. And it seems to me that universe heard me because just on the night to Sunday we got snow storm allert not only in my region but also in the neighboring regions too. After what on Sunday morning started rain and then strong snow began.
How it was in March
As you can remember from my previous post hot-april-garden-update I just could to clean my garden from fallen leaves, first green sprouts appeared from the soil. And even crocuses were ready to start blooming.
After snow storm
Then BOOM all this greenery now is cowered by the snow carpet. And it is fat enough. When I decided to mesure it was nearly 23 santimeters high.
Also as you can see on photos Gooseberry bush have started to sprout leaves. The same picture is on the honeysuckle and currant bushes.
When I came to garden in the Monday morning I was very surprised that even my greenhouse was was fully covered by the snow, but just after noon temperature came closer to 0 degrees all snow moved down on the soil like big snow heals.
Roses who almost opened leaves are almost under the snow too.
And finnaly just look on sweet cherry buds they are just prepared to sprout as you can see they are green and ready to open.
But now I am afraid that now almost all of my plants which decided to glad us with it's greenery in erly April now are damaged and most bad thing that now kids maybe will stay without first summer berries and fruilts like honeysuckle and currant. And of course I hope that blueberries weren't damaged at this days.
Final thoughts
So now I can just cross fingers and hope for the best and whait that weather in late April and May won't be so bad and we won't see backfrosts in other case it'll be tragedy for all my garden.
That's all for now. Stay tuned! Yours @travoved
