Hello Hello Hivians
We are having a typical Scottish summer at the moment.
It's been rain, smirr, skiff, drizzle or any other of the
countless names we have for rain, I guess it is a bit like the Eskimos and their words for snow...
However we are going back to last week when it was sunny in the park!
Kirkcaldy Beveridge Park Cubby hole
This is one of my favourite cubby holes to sit in the sun and feed the birds while reading a book, eating or even sunbathing!
Then I realised that we have the perfect set of shadows right here ready to be hunted!
Not the big tree shadows...
But the smaller shoots from the Rowan tree...
Do you see the leaves and their shadows on the rocks?
Some of you might notice the mound of oatmeal and bird seed on top of the rock giving it a wee bit of a pointy feel!
I like it, now I wonder if I can come back later in the year when there are berries and capture them on the rock too!
Rock close up, it all looks pretty cool!
But now, decisions, decisions, decisions!
Yes it's that time for me to choose my entry picture!
So here 👇👇👇 is my entry for Show Me A Shadow - Round 383
This was a trickier choice again. Do I only include shadows or part of what has caused it?
I never know which picture to choose as the entry, and I do try to make a story with my posts rather than just a post and a run kind of thing!!
What do you think? Did I pick the suitable one, or would you have chosen another one?
This is my contribution to Shadow Hunters SMASh Contest - Round 383 from the magically marvellous @melinda010100 and the simply superb Shadow Hunters community.
Thanks for visiting and enjoy the rest of your day!
All images and ramblings are from me, the mad Scotsman TengoLoTodo unless otherwise stated. All photos captured with my Google Pixel 9 Pro XL on July 9th 2025 at the Kirkcaldy Railway pedestrian underpass at Pratt Street.
