Another Wednesday with you, dear friends of this community, to share another of my midweek walks. I am always grateful to @tattoodjay for his excellent initiative that brings us together every Wednesday on a different tour, full of experiences, landscapes, and moments that become shared memories. I sincerely hope that your day is beautiful and radiant, that the energy of the sun and the joy of life accompany you every step of the way.
My journey began early in the morning, alongside my life partner, my dear husband. With him, I share not only daily tasks, but also the excitement of turning each day into an adventure. That day we had a fairly long to-do list, not so much because each activity took a long time, but because they were located in different parts of the city. This forced us to cross streets, avenues, and urban landscapes that, far from being an obstacle, became part of the experience.
The weather, as it has been these days, couldn't have been better. The sun came out early with radiant strength, illuminating every corner and giving the feeling that it would last forever. That warm, bright light allowed me to take excellent photographs, as I always like my trips to remain not only in my memory, but also in images that convey the beauty of the experience.
Otro miércoles más con ustedes, queridos amigos de esta comunidad, para compartirles otro de mis paseos de mitad de semana. Siempre agradeciendo a @tattoodjay por su excelente iniciativa que nos reúne cada miércoles en un recorrido diferente, lleno de experiencias, paisajes y momentos que se convierten en recuerdos compartidos. Espero de corazón que su día esté siendo hermoso y radiante, que la energía del sol y la alegría de la vida los acompañe en cada paso.
Mi recorrido comenzó temprano en la mañana, junto a mi compañero de vida, mi querido esposo. Con él comparto no solo las tareas cotidianas, sino también la ilusión de transformar cada jornada en una aventura. Ese día teníamos una lista de pendientes bastante extensa, no tanto por lo prolongado de cada actividad, sino porque estaban ubicadas en distintos puntos de la ciudad. Eso nos obligaba a atravesar calles, avenidas y paisajes urbanos que, lejos de ser un obstáculo, se convirtieron en parte de la experiencia.
El clima, como ha sido en estos días, no pudo estar mejor. El sol apareció desde temprano con una fuerza radiante, iluminando cada rincón y dando la sensación de que iba a durar una eternidad. Esa luz cálida y brillante me permitió tomar excelentes fotografías, que siempre me gusta que mis paseos no solo queden en mi memoria, sino también en imágenes que transmitan la belleza de lo vivido.
Our first stop was at Sigo CPA, one of our clients who was awaiting coloring and inspection services. We also took the opportunity to deliver some important documentation. Everything went smoothly, and both we and they were pleased with the result. That feeling of fulfilling what was agreed upon and seeing the peace of mind reflected in people's faces is something that always fills me with satisfaction.
Nuestra primera parada fue en Sigo CPA, uno de nuestros clientes que esperaba el servicio de coloración e inspección. Además, aprovechamos para entregar una documentación importante. Todo se desarrolló de manera satisfactoria, y tanto nosotros como ellos quedamos complacidos con el resultado. Esa sensación de cumplir con lo acordado y ver la tranquilidad reflejada en las personas es algo que siempre me llena de satisfacción.
With that task accomplished, we crossed the city again to head to the Wyndham Concorde Hotel, where we only had to submit this year's valid documentation. The journey was an opportunity to continue enjoying the urban landscapes, which looked vibrant under the sun. I didn't hesitate to capture some details with my camera: buildings, bustling streets, and corners that, although everyday, have their charm when you look closely.
Con esa tarea cumplida, volvimos a atravesar la ciudad para dirigirnos al Hotel Wyndham Concorde, donde únicamente debíamos entregar la documentación vigente de este año. El trayecto fue una oportunidad para seguir disfrutando de los paisajes urbanos, que se mostraban vibrantes bajo el sol. No dudé en capturar con mi lente algunos detalles; edificios, calles llenas de movimiento y rincones que, aunque cotidianos, tienen su encanto cuando se observan con atención.
In the middle of that journey, before arriving at the hotel, we had an unexpected surprise. As we crossed the bridge over the lagoon, we saw a young man fishing. Just then, he managed to catch a fish, and his joy was evident. I approached him out of curiosity, and he kindly allowed me to take some photos. When I asked him if the fish was edible, he replied that yes, it was a small catfish and that it was delicious. I confess that I have never tried it, but he assured me that it is very good. That simple, spontaneous encounter reminded me that trips are not just about landscapes, they are also about people and moments that enrich the experience.
En medio de ese recorrido, antes de llegar al hotel, tuvimos una sorpresa inesperada. Al pasar por el puente de la laguna, vimos a un joven pescando. Justo en ese instante logró sacar un pez, y su alegría era evidente. Me acerqué con curiosidad y él, amablemente, me permitió tomar algunas fotos. Al preguntarle si ese pez se comía, me respondió que sí, que era un pequeño bagre y que resultaba delicioso. Confieso que nunca lo he probado, pero él aseguraba que es muy bueno. Ese encuentro sencillo, espontáneo me recordó que los paseos no solo son paisajes, también son personas y momentos que enriquecen la experiencia.
After delivering the package to the hotel, we headed back home. We decided to take the route along Caracola Beach, a place that always fills me with peace and serenity. Its white sands, the sea stretching out with endless waves, and the palm trees swaying gently in the wind create the perfect setting to relax and give thanks. Walking there is like stopping time, taking a deep breath, and letting nature envelop you with its magic.
Después de cumplir con la entrega en el hotel, emprendimos el regreso a casa. Decidimos hacerlo recorriendo la Playa Caracola, un lugar que siempre me transmite paz y serenidad. Sus arenas claras, el mar que se extiende con un oleaje infinito y las palmeras que se mecen suavemente con el viento forman un escenario perfecto para relajarse y agradecer. Caminar por allí es como detener el tiempo, respirar profundamente y dejar que la naturaleza te envuelve con su magia.
So, surrounded by sand and palm trees, I said goodbye to the municipality of Mariño and to you, my dear friends in this community. Every Wednesday becomes an opportunity to share not only a walk, but also a little piece of life, work, encounters, and landscapes that accompany me. I hope you enjoyed this walk as much as I did.
