Fourthy years ago I met this girl , five years later we got married ,five years later we got our daughter ,twenty six years later , she got a daughter and tomorrow it will be our 35th anniversary.
I took some snapshots with my mobile from our 35 year old wedding album to share with you.
Yes even i was young once , long time ago 😂
And i used to be a guy that would say marriage is not for me , just like the dog on the front of the wedding card , but things happen in live and makes you realise you can't do it all alone.

2 )And as the card shows you meet someone to spend the rest of your life with.
3 ) Even back then i liked to put people on the wrong foot , so we decided that the first picture in our wedding album would be this , me in the dress and my wife in the suit , and every time we went to visit people with the album that weren't at the wedding .. those faces like no you didn't .. 😂
4 ) And no we didn't back then we still had those old phones connected to a landline something like this .. 
5 ) Time to get in the wedding car , and move to the city hall , for the automobile enthousiastic people it was an Auston martin Lagonda only 645 cars of this model were build . There will be a photo of the front of the car further in the post .
6 ) On arival at the city hall our dogs were waiting for us , our Golden retriver Shirley and our darkbrown New foundlander Brenda .
7 ) They both past away in 1997 shortly after each other , after we moved from Enschede to Oss .
8 ) Yes, let's give it a try .
I know i was suppose to say YES but instead i said "yes , let's give it a try" , and even today we are still trying 😁
9 ) The rings , honnestly i haven't wear mine in a long time neither does my wife in her line of work it's a handicap to have a ring on your finger and when i was assembling computers in the passt it always came in the way if i needed to get my hand in the computer to adjust cables or jumpers.
The ring was made of matte silver with a shiny gold drop on it , they are probably somewhere in the house.

In all those 35 years we moved arround a lot for work and carreer.
in 1991 we were running two tobaco stores in Amsterdam , in 1993 i went to The Gambia, in West-Africa to try and setup a new company but unfortunitly there was a militairy coup an i had to abandon everything.
Then in 1997 i got a job offer on the other side of the country so we moved with our baby to Enschede and after 6 months i got an even better offer and so we moved again down south to a samll village called Oss , we stayed in Oss in 3 differend locations , until 2017 then we moved to the city of Nijmegen and in December 2024 we moved to this location near Amersfoort , to live closer to our daughter and granddaughter.

16 ) Can you believe that in all those years we never had a fight or big argument , we always respectfull talked to each other. Maybe that is why we are still together because we respect each other no matter what happens, and believe me we had our ups and downs in life in health and finacial but we came through a lot stronger.
So why post it today , well tomorrow we will be out and bussy doing the things we like to do together we celebrate it together no big party. I'll bring the cameras and maybe i capture something on camera to post on Monday.
