Since I saw today's image I knew what I wanted to do; the idea came to me immediately: I would recreate a Super Mario level with a more realistic look and give it an antique photography touch. So I just had to turn the hydrants into pipes, and of course the level would be a desert, like the desert zone in classic games. Do you remember the level with the chasing Sun? I still have nightmares! I also added a mushroom to give our player some strength and the castle where the princess hides in the background. I ended up using some texture brushes to give it that older feel. Friends, I’m sharing all the resources I used.
Desde que vi la imagen de hoy sabía que quería hacer, la idea me llegó de inmediato, recrearía un nivel de Super Mario con una visión más realista y le daría un toque de fotografía antigua. Entonces solo quedaba convertir los hidrantes en tuberías, y el nivel por supuesto que sería un desierto como en la zona desértica de los juegos clásicos. ¿Recuerdan el nivel del Sol que te perseguía? ¡Sigo teniendo pesadillas! Agregué también un hongo que le dará fuerza a nuestro jugador y el castillo donde se oculta la princesa al fondo. Terminé usando algunos pinceles de texturas para dar ese efecto más antiguo.
