Eclipta prostrata | Oct 15, 2024 | Kaharole Upazila, Bangladesh. |
Today, I’m wanted to share some pictures and information about the False Daisy plant.
I was walking along the edge our pond near my village home. There i spotted this False Daisy plant. Its scientific name is Eclipta prostrata. It was growing amidst other grasses. As soon as I recognized it, I captured a few pictures of the plant.
Although it’s a small plant, it has many beneficial properties. Its juice is said to prevent hair fall and even promote new hair growth when applied to the scalp. It’s also used for various liver-related issues. Moreover, this useful plant is applied to treat skin problems. I remember seeing my grandmother drink its juice during my childhood.
In the four pictures, you can see the False Daisy plant along with its small, cute white flowers.
