Tonight, I had another bonding moment with my sister. We decided to go out for a long walk at Arca South. It was a spontaneous plan, and I was really glad we pushed through with it. Sometimes, the unplanned moments turn out to be the most memorable. ☺️❤️
We started our walk around 7pm. The weather was cool and refreshing, and the place wasn’t too crowded. Arca South is really a nice area if you just want to walk, jog, or simply unwind. The paths are wide, clean, and safe. I noticed there were a lot of people jogging, walking and some with their dogs, or just sitting around with their families with some foods and drinks. There’s something about seeing people enjoying simple things that makes you feel lighter inside.
My sister and I walked slowly, just enjoying each other’s company. We talked about random things and the things that made us laugh, and some personal thoughts we rarely get to share. I realized again how important it is to spend time with the people who matter.
After a while, we started to feel hungry. So we looked around and decided to buy burgers for our snack. We found a place nearby that sells good burgers, so my sister bought for us.
Instead of eating at home, we stood by at the plaza area. We just sat at the plaza, unwrapped our burgers, and ate there. It felt so simple and yet so special.
While we were eating, I felt thankful for the moment. It wasn’t an expensive dinner or a fancy place, but it was the kind of bonding I truly appreciate, just two sisters, sharing stories, eating burgers, and watching people pass by.
We spent around two hours walking around Arca South grounds. By the time we decided to go home, I felt so refreshed. Sometimes, all you need is a long walk, good food, and a person you love beside you to feel that life is still beautiful despite all the stresses and worries.
Grateful for today and praying for more moments like this. ❤️☺️🙏
