In this post I will share my experience when I found a very amazing place, a mosque building that has a clean river in front of it, making it an extraordinary view. Honestly, this place was not on my list of visits during a vacation to Takengon city, and this was a fortune for me.
This is not the main road to Takengon city, but rather this is a highway that leads to the Kalanami park area. There are many things that I should have captured along this road, but because it was already afternoon, I remained focused on my initial goal, which was to go to Kalanami park.
To be honest, I have visited Kalanami Park three times, but until now I still can't memorize the way to get there, there are so many intersections and winding roads that make me confused, so when I travel to Kalanami Park, I will definitely follow the directions given by Google Maps, because this is one of the easiest and simplest alternatives.
But sometimes some monuments in the middle of the road make me very interested in immortalizing them, so I decide to stop on the side of the road to be able to do it perfectly.
This monument is a beautiful sight when we pass this road, but I don't know anything about this monument, and because the time I had was very limited, so I didn't have time to ask about this monument, at that time I stopped at the side of the road just to capture its beauty and uniqueness, and after that I immediately continued my journey.
And from this monument I had to turn back again, but I didn't know if there was another way to Kalatami Park, at that time I only relied on Google Maps and hoped not to get lost. After a few minutes of continuing the journey, from a distance I saw a bridge in front of me, but it wasn't the bridge that made me curious, but I saw a lot of people standing on the bridge as if they were looking at something below, because of my curiosity I immediately approached the bridge first
When I was about to approach the bridge, I immediately looked for a suitable location to park my motorbike first, and once I arrived at the bridge, I immediately knew the reason why many people were there, it turned out that what they saw was a very magnificent mosque building, but not only that because in front of the mosque building there is a river that is connected to the front area of the mosque, of course this is a very beautiful sight to see.
Seeing that the building of this mosque has its own uniqueness, I immediately felt curious to approach it closer, and luckily under this bridge there is another small bridge which is quite close to the building of this mosque, I immediately got back on my motorbike and started going down towards the bridge area which is below it again.
And true, from this bridge I could see the mosque more closely and of course in more detail.
Seeing the building of this mosque makes me feel very calm, even the rapid flow of the river can be heard clearly in both of my ears. In the area of this mosque there are many visitors or worshipers who are also doing their respective activities, and in the area in front of this mosque there are many people sitting while looking at the river and some are playing in the water, and we can see for ourselves that the front building of this mosque is directly connected to the river.
The water in this river also looks very clean, the water flow is also not too strong. When I was busy looking at the beauty offered by this place, suddenly I was surprised by a white water raft that was crossing this river, white water rafting is a rubber boat that can be ridden by six people, and in this area it is indeed famous for its many white water rafting tours.
There were several people who were on the rafting, they were really enjoying it, they even immediately posed when they knew that I was taking pictures of them, seeing this made me feel very interested in this place, until I wanted to go straight into the mosque area with the aim of playing in the water in the river, but this was immediately denied by several of my friends because at that time the time we had was very limited, and indeed our main goal was to visit Kalanami Park, I could not deny this statement and I followed the rules that had been agreed upon from the start.
But before actually leaving this place, I took the time to take a few more pictures to capture the beauty offered by this place in detail.
And after I felt satisfied seeing and capturing all the beauty offered by this place, I immediately decided to continue my journey to Kalanami Park.
The good news is, the distance from this place to the kalanami park is not too far anymore, and it only took us about 10 minutes to get to the park. However, when we arrived at the park area, some of my friends stopped by the store to buy some supplies, so of course we had to wait for them first.
I waited for my friend right on the river bank, and after I looked around, I realized that the natural beauty offered by this place was truly extraordinary, so I decided to capture it too.
About five minutes later my friends finally finished shopping and caught up with me, and after that we immediately rushed to the main area of Kalanami Park. In this post I can conclude that sometimes what we don't expect will be something very extraordinary, like on my trip this time, I managed to find a mosque building area that has extraordinary beauty and uniqueness, and of course this is beyond my goal, but this is the reality, we just need to enjoy it.
