Good night to all my beloved hive friends ♥️

In this post, I would like to share an unforgettable experience and moment when my family members and I tried one of the most exciting water sports activities in Takengon—white-water rafting. There are many rafting destinations scattered throughout Takengon, but the one we chose was Lukup Badak Rafting, located in Kayu Kul Village, Pegasing District, Central Aceh Regency, Aceh Province.
This was actually a family vacation, so everyone who joined the trip was a member of my family. Lukup Badak Rafting is also located quite close to the Kala Temu nature tourist destination, with a distance of only about 200 meters. At that time, my partner and I also took a moment to stop by Kala Temu to take a short break while waiting for the rest of our family, who were still behind us.

I have visited the Kala Temu nature tourist destination many times before, so on that occasion I only stopped by the café instead of exploring the entire park. After waiting for about 20 minutes, all of my family members finally gathered at the Lukup Badak rafting area.

What impressed me the most was that the Lukup Badak tourist area had become much larger than before. There were also several shops and many gazebos available, providing visitors with comfortable places to relax and take a break.

And this is the ticket counter. Before that, I'd like to mention that there are two rafting routes available here. The first is the Family Route, with a ticket price of around IDR 70,000 Indonesian Rupiah. The second is the Extreme Route, with a ticket price of around IDR 120,000 Indonesian Rupiah, or approximately the equivalent of 132 HIVE at the current exchange rate. Each route offers a rafting experience that lasts around 40–60 minutes, and this information is based on my own personal experience.

A beautiful iconic entrance gate has also been built here, adding to the charm of the destination. It has become one of the visitors' favorite spots for taking photos before starting their white-water rafting adventure.

We did the same thing by taking photos before starting our white-water rafting adventure. Unfortunately, the weather was very cloudy that day, and what worried me the most was the possibility of rain. At that moment, I was wondering whether I should bring my phone with me during the rafting trip. However, my aunt advised me not to, because if it started raining, it would be difficult to keep my phone safe from getting wet,in the end I decided to leave my phone in the storage area. Fortunately, the rafting guide also offered photography services, although we had to pay an additional fee to hire them as our photographer.

Apart from the weather being less than ideal, the condition of the river water at that time was also very murky, so it was less than satisfying in my opinion. However, of course, this was a very pleasant and extraordinary moment, every incident happened intentionally and ended happily.
