Today I woke up feeling adventurous, so I decided to travel to the municipality of Bolívar, specifically to Marigüitar. It was a spectacular trip because the route allowed me to admire many seascapes. Once I arrived at my destination, I went to see the Plaza Antonio José de Sucre, or Plaza Sucre, as the locals know it. It is a very pleasant place. Upon arrival, we are greeted by huge letters that read "I ❤️ Marigüitar," and there is a police station and a small fountain. At night, it is quite a visual spectacle, with blue and pink lights turning on to make it even more colorful.
Here you can see the bust of Antonio José de Sucre, the Grand Marshal of Ayacucho, and unlike other squares I have been to, this one is located on the right side and not in the center. I couldn't help but compare this place with the square of the same name in Cumaná, and without a doubt, the one in Marigüitar has a more modern architecture.
It is very pleasant to relax there, as the leafy trees provide shade and there are also benches to shelter from the beach sun that can be felt in the area. There is artificial grass in different places. I stood there and jumped several times. It felt comfortable to walk on, like stepping on a padded carpet.
The gardens are very well maintained. I saw various flowers, shrubs, and plants, some of which were quite exotic. It was the first time I had seen some of these species. The yellow, red, and pink colors stood out against the green, offering visitors a pleasant view.
It had been a while since I had visited Marigüitar. I had been here before, but for work reasons, so I didn't focus on seeing this wonderful place from a tourist's perspective. Now I was ready to get to know the place, especially its beaches.
I loved this tour. I sat for a while enjoying the breeze and the pleasant view from the square. Discovering the hidden beauties beyond Cumaná is a great privilege, especially when the round trip can be done in a single day. In future posts, I will tell you more about Marigüitar and its beautiful tourist attractions.

Hoy me desperté con el espíritu aventurero activo y por ello decidí viajar hasta el Municipio Bolívar, específicamente a Marigüitar, un viaje espectacular porque el recorrido me permite contemplar muchos paisajes marinos. Ya en mi destino, fui a conocer la Plaza Antonio José de Sucre, o Plaza Sucre, como mejor la conocen los lugareños. Es un sitio muy agradable, al llegar nos reciben unas letras enormes donde se lee "Yo ❤️a Marigüitar" y se puede observar un módulo policial y una pequeña fuente. De noche es todo un espectáculo visual, las luces de colores azul y rosado se encienden otorgando mayor vistosidad.
Acá se distingue el busto de Antonio José de Sucre, el Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho, y a diferencia de otras plazas donde he estado, este se encuentra ubicado del lado derecho y no en un eje central. No pude evitar comparar ese lugar con la plaza que lleva el mismo nombre en Cumaná y, sin duda, la de Marigüitar luce una arquitectura más moderna.
Es muy agradable descansar allí, pues los frondosos árboles ofrecen sombra y también están dispuestos algunos bancos para refugiarse del sol playero que se deja sentir en el lugar. En diferentes sitios hay grama artificial, me paré allí y salté varias veces, me sentía cómoda al caminar, es como pisar sobre una alfombra acolchada.
Los jardines están muy bien cuidados, pude observar diversas flores, arbustos y plantas, algunas bien exóticas, primera vez que detallaba algunas especies. Los colores amarillo, rojo y rosado resaltaban sobre lo verde, ofreciendo una perspectiva agradable a los visitantes.
Tenía tiempo que no visitaba Marigüitar, previamente estuve aquí pero por asuntos de trabajo, por tal razón no me enfoqué en contemplar este maravilloso lugar desde un interés turístico. Ahora sí estaba dispuesta a conocer el lugar, sobre todo sus playas.
Me encantó este recorrido, me senté un rato a disfrutar de la brisa y la agradable vista desde la plaza. Conocer las bellezas que se esconden más allá de Cumaná es un gran privilegio, sobre todo cuando el viaje de ida y retorno se puede realizar el mismo día.
