Being at a party suppose to be a fun place where everyone fells relax and have fun. And also have interaction with others or even connect with them too. Imagine if I stay in this kind of environment where different kinds of people is and am hearing someone saying negative things about me. It is not a good thing to experience because it will hurt me seriously.
Well if I find myself in this type of situation the first thing I will do is to stay calm. Yeah the reason why I said that I will stay calm is because If I react the way am being hurt it will lead to another thing, my anger can make it to even go worse so instead of reacting I will decide if the matter worth reacting before I react.
But if I see the matter is a small case or the person is just doing it to gain attention from me. I will just ignore the person and protect my peace because not all matter is worth fighting for.
But if I see that matter is too much for me like am not comfortable again, what I will do is to remove myself from that environment if am uncomfortable. Because my peace of mind is very important than staying in a toxic place.
I always tell myself that people's negative words always reflect more about them than me so I choose to focused on my value and not to let anyone's opinion to bring me down.
So handling this kind of thing requires me to be self-controlled, to have confidence and to also know my worth.
