Considered Societal Standards, Might Not Be Realistic To The Citizens Of The Society...

in Hive Learners23 days ago

There are standards that have been created already in the society, which have one way or the other affected the way we live and how will see reality. The Society itself has a way of making us believe in that standard which it comes with, many of those standards my not actually be the reality of life, but the way we perceive this standard I've made us a communicate it into real world reality standard. Someone this standard are derived from social media, some are from culture, many also derived some of the Standard through religion. There are a lot of standard in the society which we have one way or the other seen has been the reality but deep than it is not a reality, to consider one of a standard.

When will perceive some of this standard, we reason them and accepted them into our Society, maybe because of religion, maybe because of culture, maybe can also because of what we see from the social media. In some cases these, standard may be of good to us, but the way the society at large go about it, can contradicts the Good Will of the Standard, thereby, making it to affect the society. Because what works for another person might not really work for others, so the way, a citizen of a society sees a standard, one other cities in my wake up one morning and decide that, this standard is not really working for him or her. Therefore, it become an unrealistic standard in the society to the person.

Everyone has their personal standard, the way they live their life and what they see as great things, there are things they accept and things they don't accept, looking at Hive Learners last edition prompt for this week, UNREALISTIC STANDARD, the part that got me more focusing, is where the question comes in, When Society play standard on its people, At what point does it because unrealistic? this is the main question I have to answer in this prompt topic. When community of society try to impose the norms guiding them on the citizen or the members of the community, it becomes a standard that is unrealistic.

Another way which we can consider a standard made by the society to be an unrealistic standard to its people, is by seeing when, a Society standard encourages citizens to compare themselves with each other, instead of building themselves, the continued to compare and start building up the feeling of inadequacy. When you realize that you are different from other persons, an instead of you to make and create opportunity that works for you, follow a standard that will make you to compare yourself with other persons there by feeling inferior in the society, which can also lead to Social Isolation and feeling of Inferiority Complex.

One other way that a standard can become Unrealistic to the society is by, Disregarding the mental and physical well-being of the individuals in the society. The Society Standards should not put the individual or her citizens in a situation where it can affect their health. A situation like this, the Citizens of the community might run into stress and anxiety, work burnout, it might as well lead to depression and other mental distress. It is important that the standard set in the community or the society, should be one that consider the well-being of the citizens. The best Standard that is considered realistic, is one which works for an individual. Therefore any realistic standard that that is set and you live with it and become comfortable with it. Then you consider it as, The Real Standard Of Living..

Yes, alot of standard, some of them are real and some are unreal...

I agree with you on this. If the well being of the people is not a priority hmmm that society is termed unrealistic.

Yes if the community or the society welfare or well-being is not prioritize, the standards are not considered to be realistic ...

Comparison kills joy, indeed societal standards become unrealistic when comparison comes into the picture.

Exactly, it is very wrong when you start comparison.....

The problem arises when these patterns or standards become limitations to healthy personal and social development. When they threaten health, we must consider how to reverse them.
Excellent analysis as always!
Happy Friday!

A lot of standards set today, by community or Society, are threat to health which made them unrealistic to the society members and citizens..

Whenever a society sets its roles, it is the responsibility of the people living there to follow these roles and not to follow even a single role. Society has the right to punish and punish people, but most of the people believe in the role laid down by the society and try to ensure that others also do the same following the rules.
