Arcade Colony: Moon Karts and My Road to 500K COLONY Staked!
+28K COLONY tokens Bought and Staked Today!
Hive and Hive-based games are two of my passions because I like to post content on my Hive blog, I like to interact with and support other Hive authors, and I like to play Hive-based games.
It is several months that I play and have fun on Moonkarts which is a Hive-based arcade race game that is part of the games featured on the Arcade Colony platform.
Moon Karts is a game that has been playable for less than a year and does not have many active players but it is a game that has nice graphics and has good gameplay similar to the gameplay of the famous nintendo game Super Mario Kart and for this reason it is, in my opinion, a game that could have future potential especially if the development team continues to improve it and if active players increase in the future.
Two new builds were released in April showing that the development team continues to improve the game.
On Moon Karts is running season 23 which will end in 3 days and 5 hours.
My partial season results are:
- 13th in the Ranked Leaderboard
- 7th in the Orbitals Leaderboard
Before the end of the season I will try to play at least 50 more races to try to improve the seasonal results I achieved in the previous season, season 22, results which, at the moment, are better than my partial results in the current season.
The tokens that have use cases in the Moon Karts game are two:
- COLONY tokens: they constitute in-game rewards and if staked positively affect in-game rewards
- SCRIPT tokens: they are one of the two requirements to produce FUEL which is an important and necessary element to play in the Multyplayer mode of Moon Karts.
COLONY tokens and SCRIPT tokens are the tokens of the Moon Karts game but they are also and especially the tokens of the Arcade Colony platform:
- COLONY: the gorvernance tokens of Arcade Colony (equivalent to SPS tokens on Splinterlands and GLX tokens on Genesis League Sports)
- SCRIPT: stable currency of Arcade Colony (equivalent to DEC tokens (Splinterlands) and GLUSD tokens (Genesis League Sports)
In a previous post of mine, I showed the use cases of COLONY tokens and also shared my new accumulation goal for these tokens: 500K COLONY staked.

In summary, the main reasons why I decided to accumulate COLONY tokens are three:
- COLONY staked tokens determine the Multiplier to receive better rewards by playing on Moon Karts

On Moon Karts I have three short-term goals:
- improve my Kart Preset stats by buying and combining NFTs
- increase the amount of SCRIPT staked to produce more FUEL
- increase the amount of COLONY staked to improve my in-game rewards.
Today I decided to give a small boost to my COLONY staked token accumulation goal through:
- the purchase of 20K COLONY by choosing the best option between buying from Hive Engine or SWAP from the COLONY:SWAP liquidity pool.
- the sale of some Hive Engine tokens and the subsequent purchase of COLONY tokens
When you have to buy Hive Engine tokens I advise you to always check first what is the most convenient method of purchase.
In fact today if I bought 20K COLONY from Hive Engine I would have spent more than 27 SWAP.HIVE.
Instead, I chose to purchase 20K COLONY using the SWAP feature of the COLONY:SWAP.HIVE liquidity pool and spent 22.12 SWAP.HIVE with a savings of more than 5 SWAP.HIVE.
At the same time I placed a purchase offer on Hive Engine to buy another 20K COLONY but at an even lower cost.
Today I also sold:
- 1203.61 SPT in exchange for 3.13 SWAP.HIVE
- 3.28 BEE in exchange for 1.23 SWAP.HIVE
- 1306.51 CENT in exchange for 3.64 SWAP.HIVE
- 2.72 WAIV in exchange for 0.36 SWAP.HIVE
- 576 ONEUP in exchange for 0.57 SWAP.HIVE

I earned a total of 8.93 SWAP.HIVE which I used to purchase another 8071.82 COLONY.
Today I transferred 28071.917 COLONY from my Hive Engine Wallet to my Arcade Colony in-game wallet and then staked these tokens.
I now have 158181.96 COLONY staked.
Today I made progress on my goal of accumulating 500K COLONY staked but I still have a long way to go because I only completed 31.64% of my goal.

Arcade Colony: Moon Kart e i miei progressi verso il mio obiettivo di 500K COLONY Staked
Hive e gli Hive-based games sono due delle mie passioni perchè mi piace pubblicare contenuti sul mio Hive blog, mi piace interagire e supportare gli altri autori di Hive e mi piace giocare agli Hive-based games.
Sono diversi mesi che gioco e mi diverto su Moonkarts che è un Hive-based arcade race game che fa parte dei giochi presenti sulla piattaforma Arcade Colony.
Moon Karts è un gioco giocabile da meno di un anno e non ha molti giocatori attivi ma è un gioco che ha una bella grafica e ha una buona giocabilità che ricorda la giocabilità del famoso gioco della nintendo Super Mario Kart e per questo motivo è un gioco che potrebbe avere del potenziale futuro soprattutto se il team di sviluppo continuerà a migliorarlo e se i giocatori attivi aumenteranno in futuro.
Nel mese di aprile sono state rilasciate due nuove build a dimostrazione che il team di sviluppo continua a migliorare il gioco.
Su Moon Karts è in corso la stagione 23 che terminerà tra 3 giorni e 5 ore.
I miei risultati stagionali parziali sono:
- 13° nella Ranked Leaderboard
- 7° nella Orbitals Leaderboard
Prima della fine della stagione cercherò di giocare almeno altre 50 corse per cercare di migliorare i risultati stagionali che ho ottenuto nella stagione precedente, la stagione 22, risultati che, al momento sono migliori dei mie risultati parziali nella stagione in corso.
I token che hanno casi d'uso nel gioco Moon Karts sono due:
- COLONY tokens: costituiscono le ricompense di gioco e se messi in staking influenzano positivamente le ricompense di gioco
- SCRIPT tokens: sono uno dei due requisiti per produrre FUEL che è un elemento importante e necessario per giocare nella modalità Multyplayer di Moon Karts.
I token COLONY e i token SCRIPT sono i token del gioco Moon Karts ma sono anche e soprattutto i token della piattaforma Arcade Colony:
- COLONY: i gorvernance token di Arcade Colony (equivalenti ai token SPS su Splinterlands e ai token GLX su Genesis League Sports)
- SCRIPT: stable currency di Arcade Colony (equivalenti ai token DEC (Splinterlands) e ai token GLUSD (Genesis League Sports)
In un mio precedente post ho mostrato i casi d'uso dei token COLONY e ho anche condiviso il mio nuovo obiettivo di accumulo per questi token: 500K COLONY staked.

In sintesi i principali motivi per cui ho deciso di accumulare i token COLONY sono tre:
- i token COLONY staked determinano il Multiplier per ricevere ricompense migliori giocando su Moon Karts

Su Moon Karts ho tre obiettivi di breve termine:
- migliorare le statistiche del mio Kart Preset acquistando e combinando NFT
- aumentare il quantitativo di SCRIPT staked per produrre più FUEL
- aumentare il quantitativo di COLONY staked per migliorare le mie ricompense di gioco.
Oggi ho deciso di dare un piccolo boost al mio obiettivo di accumulo dei token COLONY staked tramite:
- l'acquisto di 20K COLONY scegliendo tra la migliore opzione tra l'acquisto da Hive Engine oppure lo SWAP dalla liquidity pool COLONY:SWAP.HIVE
- la vendita di alcuni Hive Engine token e il successivo acquisto di token COLONY
Quando devi acquistare degli Hive Engine tokens ti consiglio di verificare sempre prima qual'è il metodo di acquisto più conveniente.
Infatti oggi se acquistavo 20K COLONY da Hive Engine avrei speso più di 27 SWAP.HIVE.
Invece ho scelto di acquistare 20K COLONY utilizzando la funzionalità SWAP della liquidity pool COLONY:SWAP.HIVE e ho speso 22.12 SWAP.HIVE con un risparmio di più di 5 SWAP.HIVE.
Allo stesso tempo ho piazzato un offerta di acquisto su Hive Engine per acquistare altri 20K COLONY ma ad un costo ancora più basso.
Oggi ho anche venduto:
- 1203.61 SPT in cambio di 3.13 SWAP.HIVE
- 3.28 BEE in cambio di 1.23 SWAP.HIVE
- 1306.51 CENT in cambio di 3.64 SWAP.HIVE
- 2.72 WAIV in cambio di 0.36 SWAP.HIVE
- 576 ONEUP in cambio di 0.57 SWAP.HIVE

Ho guadagnato in totale 8.93 SWAP.HIVE che ho utilizzato per acquistare altri 8071.82 COLONY.
Oggi ho trasferito 28071.917 COLONY dal mio Hive Engine Wallet al mio Arcade Colony in-game wallet e poi ho messo in staking questi token.
Adesso ho 158181.96 COLONY staked.
Oggi ho fatto dei progressi per il mio obiettivo di accumulo di 500K COLONY staked ma ho ancora molta strada da fare perchè ho completato solo il 31.64% del mio obiettivo.
