Splinterland Brawls are a guild event where you can earn merits and SPS. This post serves as a way for me to review how my fights went and as a reminder to sign up for the next brawl. I have missed brawls in the past and it hurts when Gladius cards can now be used in ranked battles using the soulbound summoners. 4 star brawls are rough as the teams tend to be stronger. I am still in the gold league gold foil matches and it was decent this time around. It was a great brawl outing this time.
Brawl Result
I chose the gold foil modern Brawl and got 8 wins. There were 1 free wins this time around because there was one guild who didn't submit a person for my brawl. My rewards for the brawl were 4,476 merits and 58.345 SPS in the 4-star category. My guild ranked 6th place out of the 10 guilds there. I choose to take the gold foil modern brawl because my guild usually doesn't fill all their spots, and I prefer to give my other guild members a chance at the brawls. I did great, and my guild was about average this time. One thing to note is that I was in the gold league gold foil brawl this time.
Brawl fights
There were 1 that I lost, 4 that I won, and 2 that I won due to surrender. So, I included an idea of the match below and a few thoughts about it.
You can find the first match here. I won this match, but it was close. I thought that I would lose because of Olivia, but I was able to win this match because I had that magic reflect monster. I am just glad that Olivia didn't steal my bloodlust.
You can find the second match here. I won this match, but it was another close match. I was a bit worried about the retaliate, but I was lucky that it didn't hit as much as I thought it would. My backline took care of the bloodlust monster so that was one less thing to worry about.
You can find the third match here. I lost this match because my opponent had a stronger lineup. The level disadvantage was tough, and it was hard to get through when my opponent had that magic bloodlust monster.

You can find the fifth match here. I won this match because I had the stronger line up. My opponent had a weak lineup so it was an easy win.
Conclusion
Doing 8 fights for 4,476 merits and 58.345 SPS is a good reward for the effort. I did great this time around, and the guild did decent, too. We haven't been doing well in brawls, but we did decently this time. There are too many inactive people so I think the active people did what they could.
