Lovely to be part of this beautiful community, trust you are all doing great. I want to participate in the #KISS blogging idea 158. This is a few pointers that has been beneficial to me and my family on how to recharge on a budget.
Everyone needs a budget, it doesn't matter if you have in abundance or just what you need per time. To balance our well being and those of our family members we need to be financially mindful. This will help us get the value of every penny we spend and not feel like we lost money
Let us look at what recharging really means. To some it could be a weekend getaway, vacation, spa day, movie night, going to fun places with friends while to others it could be just reading a book, viewing nature or just staying home to eat your favorite meal and relaxing without any social or work pressure.
We can borrow some ideas from above to recharge whether alone or with family. To meet your family needs without doing too much you could plan a simple bonding time by going to the park, to the beach, having a picnic or just having home made food or snacks while you play games, watch a movie or just talk. It keeps the family relax and reduces pressures.
Instead of going on expensive vacations or trips, take your work free days one at a time to do errands, rest, enjoy quiet mornings, read a book, create something like an art, soaps, cream, piece of clothing accessories or just relax without screens when the family or children are out.
Make budgets whether you are financially comfortable or not because budgeting guides you. With some funds you could get a fitness plan, spa visits or weekend getaway and with less you avoid unnecessary spending like side meals or unnecessary junks, allocate funds for family and stick to the plan and you will be glad about how creative and prudent you have been.Take advantage of free, discounted or low cost entertainment in your community. This helps you get the relaxation you need with your budget. Sometimes we just visit an old stadium in the area and play around, pick fruits from trees, ride bikes or even dance to music as it is very spacious for the kids and we don't have to pay to enter. We all feel happy when we get back home and we have not even spent a dime.
In all recharging on a budget can be achieved without struggling, just try to be intentional in prioritizing your well-being as well as your family needs in order to foster a lifestyle rooted in contentment, sustainability and pure joy for everyone.
