Beautiful life💖
The husband wanted us to join him on his drive to the capital this morning, but I declined. I didn't wish to be on the road when my muscles are sore, so he went alone. Meanwhile, Dad went to church at 8, so Yongi and I spent the day quietly and lazily. Laundry will have to wait. Maybe we will take them to DD when we go back, hopefully by next week.
Anyway, during our unplanned drive two weeks ago, we pulled over for a little pictorial at one of the village's (Gambang) landmarks. Love this giant statue of a traditional basket filled with cabbages (one of the region's agricultural products).

It was past 4 pm then and the sun was about to hide behind the mountainside, but we were fortunate to have caught up with it, and of course, some shadows, too!

My little boy and I standing by the roadside while waiting for the hubby who was conversing with a police officer who happened to be there for a smoke. The third pic below shows the hubby's half-body and the part of the car's shadows, and also of the sculptures in the distance.

I dislike the smell of cigarettes, so we kept a good distance from them. Anyway, this photo included a faint shadow of the car and its top load carrier.

Realizing we would have to wait a bit longer, we hopped inside. It was taking long for them two to stop their conversation, lol! It turned out, the police was sharing about their raids and such. Funny how they connected even at first meeting.
Anyhow, the Lil Guy seemed to know something, he kept smiling.😅 But joke aside, he was breathing heavily, probably due to the stinky cigarette.

So I shut the windows so we would be at ease with our breathing. It irks me when people smoke around me, just like one of my brother's boys, who tends to light his cigarette every time he pass by. Maybe I should tell him to do it elsewhere, lol!
