En casa tenemos a la bella y talentosa @yennysferm71, una hiver que nos ha mostrado que es una gran artesana, sus habilidades manuales la han llevado a ser parte del equipo Hive Diy, allí cumple la función de moderadora y realiza un gran trabajo.
Hoy conoceremos un poco más de la historia de Yennys, ella nos compartirá su experiencia y expectativas dentro del ecosistema. También leeremos algunos consejos valiosos para todos aquellos que quieran iniciar su camino en la blockchain.

1. Cuéntanos un poco de ti. ¿Quién eres fuera de la pantalla de Hive? (Profesión, hobbies, de dónde eres, etc.)
Soy Yennys Fernández, venezolana, trabajé en Contabilidad para empresas durante muchos años, y a mis 50, en el 2022, perdí mi trabajo y a pesar que conseguí otro rápidamente con otra empresa de un cliente o contacto, decidí no aceptarlo y así comenzó otra etapa en mi vida ya en esta adultez.
A esa edad mi hijo mayor me dijo, que “dejara de trabajar para un patrono, y me quedara en casa, que hiciera algo que me gustara”. Me sorprendí a mí misma tratando de responder eso, porque realmente no sabía que me gustaba, hasta ese momento solo trabajaba en Contabilidad para pagar las cuentas de la familia, pero no sabía que me gustaba hacer como una actividad personal.
Sabía que me gustaba mucho coser bolsos, confeccionar algunas prendas de vestir, hacer manualidades, pero no sabía qué hacer con eso. Así que solo comencé a hacer lo que sabía y me gustaba, y desprevenidamente he podido crear cosas, venderlas, y también decidí subir algunos Tutoriales de lo que hago en HIVE.
2. ¿Cómo llegaste a Hive y cuál fue tu primera impresión?
Llegué a Hive en el año 2022, mi hermano que había escuchado sobre Hive, pero no sabía exactamente de qué se trataba. Intrigada, esa misma tarde comencé a investigar, consumí mucho contenido para aprender, y me emocionó mucho saber que efectivamente podía crear contenido de lo que me gusta, y también de tener la posibilidad de monetizar con ello.
Mi primera impresión fue de mucho entusiasmo al ver que estaba organizado por nichos, diferentes comunidades donde podía hacer contenido, con personas que tienen los mismos intereses, y tener la oportunidad de proyectarme dentro de cada una. Fue conocer la Web3, no solo el futuro de las RRSS, sino que es el presente.
3. ¿Cuál es la diferencia más grande que ves entre las redes sociales convencionales (como Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) y las redes sociales que hay dentro de Hive?
La diferencia más grande que identifiqué al entrar a Hive, fue que no trabajamos para un algoritmo, que nos exija pautas y censuras, en Hive la clave es crecer en comunidad, en nuestros nichos, con personas reales que día a días nos conocemos y nos apoyamos mutuamente.
Posteriormente, identifiqué otras ventajas de ser Creador de Contenido en Hive, relacionadas con la Propiedad de nuestra Cuenta o Usuario, la seguridad de que no vamos a perder nuestra cuenta porque lo decida otro, y muchas otras ventajas. Además, la interacción es mucho más genuina; la gente lee, comenta y valora tu trabajo de una forma que no se ve en otras plataformas.
4. Si tuvieras que definir Hive en una sola frase, ¿cuál sería?
"Hive es todo un Ecosistema de Web3, el futuro de las RRSS, pero ya en el presente”
5. ¿En qué comunidades sueles publicar o interactuar con mayor frecuencia y por qué?
Principalmente suelo estar muy activa en comunidades relacionadas con el "Hazlo tú mismo" donde puedo presentar mis Tutoriales:
• Hive Diy
• Diy Hub
• Needle Work Monday
• Jewelry
Y tengo mis épocas donde estoy muy motivada en hablar sobre las películas o series que me gusta, y lo hago en Movies & Tv Shows.
6. ¿Cuál ha sido tu mayor logro o la experiencia más gratificante que has tenido en Hive hasta ahora?
Mi mayor logro es ser valorada y reconocida por mis comunidades nicho, haber logrado capitalizar mis hobbies y hacerme Creadora de Contenido, aún estoy creciendo, aprendiendo y mejorando día a día.
Otro logro sin duda ha sido tener la oportunidad de formar parte del Team Moderador de la Comunidad Hive Diy, algo que agradezco infinitamente a su Líder Fundadora @equipodelta.
7. ¿Qué fue lo más difícil de aprender en tus inicios?
Más que dificultades, lo que encontré fueron muchas cosas nuevas que aprender, como la maquetación en HTML, elaborar mis portadas en Canva, y hasta editar videos en Capcut (cosas que hago muy, muy eventualmente), creo que mi entusiasmo me ayudó a aprender todo muy rápido y fluido.
8. ¿Cómo describirías tu visión a futuro dentro del ecosistema de Hive?
Mi visión es seguir creciendo y consolidarme como un referente en el área de la costura y las manualidades. Quiero que mi perfil sea una vitrina de aprendizaje. Además, veo a Hive como el trampolín perfecto para crear mi Marca Personal en el futuro.
Estoy convencida de que todo lo que aprendo en HIVE me está preparando para llevar mi emprendimiento a otro nivel.
9. ¿Qué consejo le darías a un Hiver que apenas está comenzando?
• Que no publique por publicar, sino que entregue Contenido de Valor.
• Interactuar y crecer en comunidad es fundamental.
• Que sea auténtico y real.
10. Si quieres explicarle Hive a un familiar o amigo, para que se una a la plataforma, ¿qué le dirías para convencerlo?
Le diría que Hive es todo un Ecosistema de aplicaciones o Dapps, donde puedes enseñar tus talentos, compartir tu punto de vista y gustos, aprender cosas nuevas y pertenecer a una comunidad que te apoya de verdad.
Un lugar seguro donde no perderás tu cuenta, eres dueño de tu contenido, no dependes de un algoritmo y como Plus tienes la posibilidad de monetizar, es el mejor lugar.
11. Para finalizar, ¿has tenido alguna experiencia directa con Hispapro? Si es así, ¿qué tal ha sido?
Sí, apoyo este proyecto en el que tengo Delegado HP, y genero ingresos Pasivos. Pertenezco a su grupo de Whatsapp donde hay mucha interacción de sus miembros y estamos al día de las actividades que proponga la moderación.
Hispapro también es muy cercano a nosotros los Creadores de Contenido, ya que sigue nuestro trabajo y nos apoya, ese respaldo es fundamental para seguir motivados y creando contenido de calidad.

1. Tell us a little about yourself. Who are you outside of Hive? (Profession, hobbies, where you're from, etc.)
My name is Yennys Fernández, I'm Venezuelan, I worked in accounting for companies for many years, and at 50, in 2022, I lost my job. Although I quickly found another one with a client or contact, I decided not to take it, and so began another stage in my adult life.
At that age, my eldest son told me to "stop working for an employer and stay at home, do something I liked." I surprised myself trying to answer that, because I really didn't know what I liked. Until then, I had only worked in accounting to pay the family bills, but I didn't know what I liked to do as a personal activity.
I knew I really liked sewing bags, making some clothes, and doing crafts, but I didn't know what to do with that. So I just started doing what I knew and liked, and unexpectedly I was able to create things, sell them, and I also decided to upload some tutorials of what I do on HIVE.
2. How did you come across Hive, and what was your first impression?
I came across Hive in 2022. My brother had heard about it, but I didn't know exactly what it was. Intrigued, that same afternoon I started researching, consumed a lot of content to learn, and was very excited to find out that I could actually create content about what I like, and also have the possibility of monetizing it.
*My first impression was one of great enthusiasm when I saw that it was organized by niches, different communities where I could create content, with people who have the same interests, and have the opportunity to project myself within each one. It was discovering Web3, not just the future of social media, but the present.
3. What is the biggest difference you see between conventional social media (such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) and the social media within Hive?
The biggest difference I identified when I joined Hive was that we don't work for an algorithm that imposes guidelines and censorship on us. At Hive, the key is to grow as a community, in our niches, with real people who get to know each other and support each other every day.
Later, I identified other advantages of being a Content Creator on Hive, related to the ownership of our account or user, the security of knowing that we won't lose our account because someone else decides so, and many other advantages. In addition, the interaction is much more genuine; people read, comment, and value your work in a way that is not seen on other platforms.
4. If you had to define Hive in a single sentence, what would it be?
"Hive is a whole Web3 ecosystem, the future of social media, but already in the present."
5. In which communities do you usually post or interact most frequently and why?
I'm mainly very active in DIY communities where I can share my tutorials:
• Hive DIY
• DIY Hub
• Needle Work Monday
• Jewelry
And there are times when I'm really motivated to talk about the movies or series I like, and I do that in Movies & TV Shows.
6. What has been your greatest achievement or most rewarding experience at Hive so far?
My greatest achievement is being valued and recognized by my niche communities, having managed to capitalize on my hobbies and become a Content Creator. I am still growing, learning, and improving every day.
Another achievement has undoubtedly been having the opportunity to be part of the Moderator Team of the Hive Diy Community, something for which I am infinitely grateful to its Founding Leader @equipodelta.
7. What was the most difficult thing to learn when you started out?
Rather than difficulties, what I found were many new things to learn, such as HTML layout, designing my covers in Canva, and even editing videos in Capcut (things I do very, very occasionally). I think my enthusiasm helped me learn everything very quickly and smoothly.
8. How would you describe your vision for the future within the Hive ecosystem?
My vision is to continue growing and establishing myself as a leader in the field of sewing and crafts. I want my profile to be a showcase for learning. I also see Hive as the perfect springboard for creating my personal brand in the future.
I am convinced that everything I learn at HIVE is preparing me to take my business to the next level.
9. What advice would you give to a Hiver who is just starting out?
• Don't post just for the sake of posting, but deliver valuable content.
• Interacting and growing within the community is essential.
• Be authentic and real.
10. If you wanted to explain Hive to a family member or friend to get them to join the platform, what would you say to convince them?
I would tell them that Hive is an entire ecosystem of applications or Dapps, where you can showcase your talents, share your point of view and tastes, learn new things, and belong to a community that truly supports you.
It's a safe place where you won't lose your account, you own your content, you don't depend on an algorithm, and as a bonus, you have the possibility to monetize. It's the best place.
11. Finally, have you had any direct experience with Hispapro? If so, how was it?
Yes, I support this project in which I have HP Delegate status, and I generate passive income. I belong to their WhatsApp group where there is a lot of interaction among members and we keep up to date with the activities proposed by the moderators.
Hispapro is also very close to us Content Creators, as it follows our work and supports us. That support is essential to stay motivated and continue creating quality content.
