At times, I think of how different everything would look if we were always fair in everything we do and everything we say, and it is not something we hoped for but something that everyone could always do and trust.
Answering the first question on this prompt as regarding me having the power to change anything in my country, I have thought to the left and right, which has left me with just one simple answer, which is. All the public officers, including the president, must always use the same systems that we, the citizens, are using. No more traveling to other countries to use their special hospitals. No private alternatives. They must be given the same treatment as the common people. If they get to the hospitals, they wait like the rest of the people, even if the hospitals lack all the amenities. The muse travels on the same road that we, the citizens, are using to taste how bad it has become. I think if they too can witness and taste out of this, things will change very fast, and they will do what is necessary.
While I was growing up, I saw our leaders with a lot of propaganda and fake promises of change, and now that I know my left from my right, they are still giving us the same cock-and bull stories where everything they say during the campaign is just to fool us and to make them look good. But on a regular basis, everything is becoming worse, from bad roads to bad power to bad education to bad basic and necessary amenities. And when I see our so called leaders, I feel like they do not know the pain of the people; it's like they live in a different part of the country far from ours. And maybe the distance and their not knowing how we feel is the big and real problem.
And in my honest, brutal opinion, if all these leaders taste, pass through, and feel what we, the citizens and common people, pass through on a regular basis, I think the way they lavishly squander money on renovation, expensive cars, and unnecessary things will change very fast, and they will come back to their senses by doing what is necessary. A lot of time and concentration will be put into implementing our policies, which will give room for more transparency, honesty, and urgency to attend to what the country needs and not what they need.

And as for the second prompt, I will not lie; I have tolerated a lot of extraordinarily bad behavior all in the name of fear that the person will change and will be accountable, respect, and what people will say. But as time goes on, I realized that we all know what we are doing. I braced up, and I started putting some people in their place by giving them distance and treating them like the person that they are, because I have grown to realize that my peace is very important, even if it comes to the extent of stepping back and cutting ties with some people. So I chose myself, and I have started loving myself more than tolerating abusive behaviors.
