These days, I started thinking about changing my look a little, especially my haircut. It was already time for a trim, so I decided to ask Gemini for some suggestions since I've been wearing pretty much the same hairstyle for many years. I wasn't looking for anything too drastic, just something different to refresh my appearance.
Since I had already seen my wife use artificial intelligence when she wanted to change her look, I decided to do the same. I asked for some haircut suggestions, and the AI recommended a fade haircut. Based on the simulation, the result looked very interesting and seemed to suit me quite well. However, when I went to the barber, things did not turn out exactly as I had imagined.
Even though I showed him the image generated by the AI and explained how I wanted the haircut, I had the impression that he ended up doing something quite different from what I had requested. I also asked him not to cut the sides too short with the clippers because my hair is curly, and with a very short fade I would need to visit the barber almost every week to keep it looking good.
In the end, the result was quite far from the hairstyle suggested by the AI. Even so, I can't say that I hated it; there were actually a few details that I liked. Maybe next time I'll try a different barber and give it another shot. Who knows? The result might end up being much closer to what I originally envisioned.

Esses dias comecei a pensar em mudar um pouco o visual, mais especificamente o corte de cabelo. Já estava na hora de aparar os fios e resolvi pedir ajuda ao Gemini para encontrar uma nova opção, já que há muitos anos mantenho praticamente o mesmo corte. Mesmo mostrando a imagem gerada pela IA e explicando como queria o corte, tive a impressão de que o profissional acabou fazendo algo bem diferente do que eu havia pedido. Além disso, solicitei que ele não baixasse tanto as laterais com a máquina, pois meu cabelo é crespo e, com um degradê muito curto, eu precisaria voltar ao salão praticamente toda semana para manter o visual.
No final, o resultado ficou bem distante da sugestão apresentada pela inteligência artificial. Apesar disso, não posso dizer que odiei o corte; até gostei de alguns detalhes. Talvez na próxima vez eu procure outro cabeleireiro e tente novamente. Quem sabe o resultado fique mais próximo do que imaginei?
