Reproduction Time

I am so happy that I could get another chance to photograph butterfly. If you are familiar with macro photography, then photographing a butterfly is one of the major challenges to capture. Yes, they might seem to be beautiful and fragile, and hopping from one flower to the other very gracefully, so taking a photo of this magnificent creature will not be a problem

But since they move from one flower to the other very fast, keeping track of them can be very difficult, more over they are very skittish, and will definitely fly away when you are trying to get close to them. Unless you are lucky to find a sleeping butterfly or visit a butterfly garden, getting their macro photo can be very difficult. Or if you are double lucky, you can find them in their reproductive stance.

I am super lucky to be able to find this The Lesser Dart or Potanthus omaha on their reproductive stance so that I could get more photos of them.

Potanthus omaha has a wide head, large eyes, and a thick body. The upper sides of the wings are dark brown with bright yellow-orange markings, the veins are noticeably blackened on the yellow band.

You can see the different markings and the patterns on their wings from the underside and also on the upper side of this butterfly. they are very beautiful, and very beneficial in the pollination of some of the plants, although,h during their life cycle, they can be a major problem as their larvae will eat up most of the leave of their host plants.

Butterflies are so incredibly hard to capture, you did a great job, and it was good that they were too busy to worry about you lol

yes, that is true. they fly so elegantly and seems to be an easy subject to capture, but those little wings can outrun you so fast. hahaha unless they are so busy having fun like these two. ;)
!LOLZ

Hha yeah they flit far too fast

Oh, I did not have any idea that this is how they reproduce. Thank you for sharing it here with us.

that is some of the mating pose that they have, I believe there are some other butterfly species that do it a little bit differently. Thank you for stopping by my friend

Their colors created a nice contrast with the background of the leaf, great job on the macro angles, definitely double lucky for you lol.

haha definitely a double luck. otherwise, it will be really hard for me to photograph them
