This is my entry for the #monomad challenge hosted and curated by @monochromes
This is a very interesting spider that I found in the morning in the garden. The size of this spider is quite big. Based on its appearance, legs and body this guy is from the jumping spider family. And the name of this species is Cosmophasis gemmans. Cosmophasis gemmans is a species of jumping spider in the family Salticidae. These spiders are typically found on the Indonesian island of Sumatra, but I have found it here in Bali.
what interesting of this spider is the color pattern on its abdomen, with black and white alternating coloration. The white lines seem to divide the abdomen into two parts which makes it easily recognizable.
And just like most of the jumping spider family, this guy don't make any web, because they are a hunting predator, which is constantly in the move to find its prey.
