The ARCHON community stepped up in a big way, and proving that this is all more than just "magic internet money", in a way is beginning to thrive again under a more robust decentralized framework.
I must refer you to everything I wrote about in ARCHON project - as it stands, so read that first if you are totally out of the loop.
Who am I?
Despite the fact that I am basically a rogue bilingual landscaper, I have cultivated, protected and cherished a reputation around HIVE of being an honest broker. This in and of itself has caused conflicts when my honesty (if I think your token is overpriced I will sell it, honestly providing liquidity to the market) is at odds with other's expectations. But as someone who works very hard to say what he is going to do (or stay quiet), and then work very hard to do what he said - I can say that I am very proud to be someone that people "trust".
I was tasked to do this with DBLN and their "buyback fund", and anyone can see that the funds are still there, having soaked up more than 600M DBLN from the market.
I could at any time take this money, but that is not what I said I would do - effectively I have doomed one of my favorite alt accounts to the purgatory of supporting this sad sack of a token.
Its not that I don't need the money, I often do - but its not my money. I have squeezed hard my personal account, battering it to a mere fragment of its former self; but "doing what I said I would" requires no new effort from me, it can sit there forever. This is also why I try to be very careful about "what I say I am going to do"; wen Dreamr?
ARCHON!
Yes, I have the @archon-gov account and it is now added to the list of accounts I am managing.
And there is great news - with the HP backing on this account alone, we have an asset backed value of 0.011 HIVE per ARCHON token. I am working, along with others, to put the tribe in the best position possible to grow again.

ARCHONM ????
So there has been a big question in my mind if we should support the miners. In a sense their backing has been rugged, should ARCHON suffer because of this? Well, after talking to the community in our new discord, we have decided that, yes, we still support the ARCHONM as part of our Assistance, Resources and Community help tribe.
So we are announcing today that the ARCHONM mining tokens will once again be mining ARCHON tokens. 0.25 ARCHON per day, per miner.
Submit your thoughts below - I believe this is a sweet spot but anyone can make their case for higher or lower. The miner account is @mining-arc and 10,000 ARCHON have been placed their to kick off this process.
@archon-gov
Currently I have the @archon-gov following the @ecoinstats trail, but this is not ideal. We as a community need to formulate an appropriate way to use ALL of our VP% to support our community. One option proposed has been voting on the ARCHONM miner holders accounts, but I think we need to consider other options.
Remember the original proposal was that anyone who gave 5% beneficiary to @archon-gov would get hit by the trail.
