Hello, everyone. I hope you’re all doing well. I’m delighted to be able to show you one of my creations. It’s a pair of pyjamas I’ve made for a 10-year-old girl.
Hola amigos. Espero que se encuentren muy bien. Feliz de poder mostrarles una de mis creaciones. Se trata de una pijama que he realizado para una niña de 10 años.
Materials- Materiales
- 1 metre of muslin fabric
- White thread
- Sewing machine
- 1 metro de tela de muselina
- Hilo Blanco
- Maquina de coser
Paso a Paso

The first thing I did was take the fabric and cut out the front and back panels of the dressing gown; I also cut out the sleeve pieces and the neckline. I also cut out two squares for the pockets and a ribbon to fasten the dressing gown.
Lo primero que hice fue tomar la tela y hacer la zona de la cara delantera y trasera de la bata, asi mismo hice la forma de las piezas de las mangas, la zona del cuello, ademas hice dos cuadros para hacer los bolsillo y una cinta para ajustar la bata.

I sewed the front and back pieces together, joining the shoulder area and running from the bottom of the armhole to the hem of the dressing gown.
Mediante costura uni la cara de la piezas delanteras y traseras uniendo la zona de los hombros y desde la parte baja de la sisa hasta final del ruedo de la bata.
Next, we pin the sleeve area to the shape of the armhole on our dressing gown.
Seguidamente ajustamos con alfileres la zona de la manga a la forma de la sisa de nuestra bata.

In this way, we made progress on the dressing gown by adjusting the sleeves to fit.
De esta manera fuimos avanzando en la creación de la bata ajustando las mangas a estas.

I then sewed the ribbon that fits snugly around the neck. I also sewed the pockets onto the front of the dressing gown. Finally, we sewed the ribbon onto the dressing gown.
Luego hice la costura de la cinta que va ajustada al cuello. Asi mismo cosí los bolsillos en la zona de la cara delantera de la bata. Por ultimo cosimos la cinta en la bata.
