Hahahaha
Sorry @oadissin I did not intentionally seek you in the Modern Format rank battles. Sometime this Splinterlands is a bit "LOL", after I saw his post here https://www.ecency.com/@oadissin/how-are-you-doing-this , somehow I was matched against him in my rank battles lol.
It has happened several times, usually I meet @arveno, @thebighiqq, and @zusi78. In the past I had met @blitzzzz and @rqr4 frequently, however I believe we are playing in different tier at the moment, and it explains why we do not have each other as opponent anymore.
It's always fun to meet these guys, especially because we are an active Splinterlands bloggers too. So we read others then we battle them. Oh ya I forget another one, @logen9f . I think we will have a battle soon, near the end of season lol.
So how's my fight with the famous @oadissin?
The Battle
So this was the battle between Oadissin and I. 48 mana cap without any modifier, it's the standard. Frankly speaking, this battle condition is actually a hard one, because standard means anything can go, either for right and wrong. We have no clue what to exploit and what to counter.
48 Mana cap is quite a headache too. In the past this is a golden mana cap, which means we could deliver anything we want. However with the current line up, it's a double edge swords. We could use Legendary Summoner to gain massive advantage, but we bear the risk that we could end up losing one or two units due to lack of mana. Or we could go with good line up but we bear the risk of losing due to Summoner factor.
You know the funny thing here was that Oadissin and I took the same approach, we gambled the line up by having a legendary summoner and we sacrificed one position by employing a two mana unit. Oadissin used Kha-zi Conjurer, who could attack with 4 range damage but had an Incendiary effect. That's a double edge sword, so I could understand if he put Kha-zi in front, as a meat shield.
I used Bristlebond Brigand, a two mana range unit, solely for her demoralize ability. I needed her to debuff opponent melee attacks, which later this became a great option regarding of Oadissin summoner, Lorkus.
so who had the better advantages here? In my perspective, Oadissin had better line up, however my debuff hit spot on against his summoner. So whatever the result, it was a great line up from both of us.

I won that battle significantly, not because I had better line up. My line up was effective against his Lorkus and I believed Oadissin did not anticipate that he had to fight Brave The Bull summoner, which gave me two execute ability to my strongest mages.
Currently both of us are struggling to breach into Diamond III, so wish us luck guys. Anyway you should share your battles too against a fellow hive bloggers, I know some of you just recently beat me, you could use that for your content.
It is not to prove who is better, but it's more on sharing the fun. That's all I want to share today. Thanks for reading and see you on Splinterlands battle!
