I have invested in stocks earlier bit now most of my recent investments are in mutual funds or ETF. I am running a multiple strategy where I have ETF ki Dukan where I invest in ETF as well as take profit when it reaches 6% profit. Along with that I am also investing in Nifty50 ETF and once I have the 1 lot of units I will be doing hedging using the option trading. And I have a regular investing in mutual fund is going on.

Though I invest in IPO and take profit and come our and if the company is quote good then I remain invested. But mostly I am not investing in new stocks because I am happy with the XIRR I am getting with my mutual funds. As of today the XIRR stands at 14% which is quite good and if I would invest in Stock there might be a probability that it can give me negative returns or if I am lucky it can give me 15% returns overall.
So when I am getting the 14% from mutual funds then why to spend time in analyzing to find the best stock to invest. Yeah there are possibility that my investment could become 10x to 20x in few years if I can hit the jackpot. But to fund out that I have to invest in Large number of companies and overall it might give the more or less the same percentage.
And that's why most of my new investments are going in mutual funds and ETF. It is the best way to build the wealth slowly and steadily. So whenever someone asks me to give best stocks to buy, I always ask them to invest in mutual funds. Though I have invested in large cap funds but they are my old investments and I am not going to sell those stocks now.
