The pursuit of God has been one of the major cravings of man over the ages. One could easily read this out of the manifestation of numerous and still counting religions in the world. We only know of a few which are institutionalized. But the reality remains that everyone of us has our own personal religion. Even those who claim that there is no God are in a way making themselves the God of their own worlds.
Currently, the entire world is observing the different major religious fasts at the same time. I wouldn't know whether the Jewish pentecost is equally happening this year. The practice of these fasts point to the very same thing - man is searching for God.
The only way we can find God is to search Him in the Way. Jesus Christ is the only Way to God. No one will get to God except by Jesus Christ. The path set out in the Bible is the right path to know God. Searching the Bible will reveal God to us. Following the teachings of Jesus Christ is the right path. Obeying the commandments of God is the right way to go.
