Did someone support you during your hardest time? How did they help?
Hello #ladiesofhive family, Happy new month. I welcome you all to June.

Truly, helpers and supporters do have a way of coming at every dark moment of our lives, but some supports are difficult to forget. This is the story I want to share with you today.
After successfully passing out from the National Youth Service Corps, it was about time to launch out into the labour cum favour market. Because I always believe that there will be light at the end of every tunnel.
At that juncture, I have many things running through my mind because my initial plan was to continue with the telecoms company I served. Unfortunately, serious fraud occurred in the firm. This led to an immediate downsizing of the business to prevent bankruptcy. As a result, no corper was retained. I was thrown into the labour market unprepared and with no solace in sight. I was unhappy and became moody. I nearly slipped into depression because of the volume of graduates searching for jobs in my country of origin.
However, I was encouraged to start moving out of the house to job hunt, outside of my online activities. One day, while in transit, I met someone who approached me and chatted after noticing my mood. After the short discussion, he asked me where I wished to work and gave me his card. The rest was history.

The individual helped me secure a customer service job in an entertainment company after a successful interview process. I couldn’t explain my feelings for days after receiving my offer letter. I continued to sleep and wake up with the offer letter for days.
Indeed, it was a support that opened the way for my career launch. I remained in touch with the individual until we lost touch because the person joined politics and rocked the boat. However, that support remained evergreen in my memory. I have also tried to render such support to other individuals to the best of my ability, noting that one great turn deserves another.
